Last month's price chop and new listing photos certainly did the trick--Gwyneth Paltrow and ex-husband Chris Martin have finally found a buyer for their Tribeca penthouse at 416 Washington Street. The consciously uncoupled pair bought the apartment as a pied-a-terre in 2007 for $5.1 million, but after going their separate ways, listed it last March for $14.25 million. Gwynie then reduced the price to $12.85 million in November and again to $9,995,000 last month. Now, Mansion Global reports that it's gone into contract, though until it hits public records there's no word on who the lucky buyer is and whether or not they'll retain the "ethereal" interiors and fuzzy nap zones.

Lavish $65M penthouse unveiled at Robert A.M. Stern’s 70 Vestry

After selling the $50 million penthouse at the beginning of the year and celebrating the building's topping out last month, the Related Companies has unveiled the $65 million penthouse atop their Tribeca condo 70 Vestry, the largest apartment listed in New York this year. The massive, incredibly luxurious home is the crowning jewel of the Robert A.M. Stern-designed project, boasting close to 8,000 square feet of interior space designed by Daniel Romualdez and 3,687 square feet of private outdoor space across three levels and including a rooftop terrace. Benjamin Joseph, Executive Vice President at Related Companies, said in a press release, "A penthouse of this caliber has never before been offered in Tribeca, and may never be again."

Gwyneth Paltrow’s all-white Tribeca penthouse gets $3M price chop and lots of listing photos

Though not notable for leading a private lifestyle (might we mention her very public "conscious uncoupling" and certain intimate products that she's touted on her blog Goop), Gwyneth Paltrow has been reticent to showcase interior photos of her Tribeca penthouse. She first listed the pad at 416 Washington Street last March for $14.25 million; after chopping the price to $12.85 million in November, she self-published a few images on Goop; but now that it's taken a third cut to $9,995,000, it looks like Gwynie is loosening up. LL NYC first spotted the new listing with Compass, which now has plenty of views, from the famous fuzzy nap zones, to the living room swing made of an antique Indoor door, to endless swaths of white marble and ethereal hand-painted wall coverings.

Maya Lin-designed Tribeca mansion lists for $35M

Despite the claim by some preservationists that the building looked like "a block of swiss cheese," back in June the Landmarks Preservation Commission approved Maya Lin Studio's design of a contemporary mega-mansion in the heart of Tribeca's historic district. The plans call for a five-story, 20,000-square-foot home at 11 Hubert Street--including incredible amenities such as an 82-foot swimming pool, basketball/squash court, four-car garage, and an open-air courtyard--and, as the Post reports, the corner site has just hit the market for $35 million, though this doesn't include the $15 million it'll cost to actually build the house.

That's what the owner of a pair of sleek, terrace wrapped trophy penthouses at 110 Duane Street on the West Broadway side of Tribeca found out after the two units were on the market together for about a year starting in 2014 at $9.95 million for the pair. After a $1 million price chop, there was an attempt to further sweeten the 4,550-square-foot dream home concept with plans drawn up for a massive melding of the two. The two pricey pads parted ways in 2015, going to separate buyers, 3N for $4.25 million and 3S for $4 million. Now the latter half of the star-crossed dream home has had a trendy, Euro-pale design makeover and is back on the market for $4.9M.

Mike Myers’ $15M Tribeca loft finds a buyer just a month after he bought it

"It's freedom, baby, yeah!" At least from his Tribeca apartment. Mike Myers bought a $14.65 million loft in 443 Greenwich Street at the beginning of the year, but clearly had sudden a change of heart, re-listing it just a week later for the slightly higher price of $15 million. And now, only a month after purchasing the pad, it's gone into contract, according to LL NYC. Now if only he could so easily unload his $15.95 million Mercer Street penthouse.

$1.65M Tribeca loft is equal parts old-school downtown and rustic chic

Though it's within the boundaries of pricey Tribeca to be sure, this duplex loft at 356 Broadway overlooks what The Real Deal called "something of a final frontier in Manhattan," though even that 2015 reference was alluding to rapid changes afoot in what is known in real estate circles as East Tribeca. With classic interiors that play up the rustic side of loft decor–exposed brick and beams, open rooms and double-height ceilings–this 1,417-square-foot condominium has been fully renovated in an up-to-the minute style. The listing says it's "priced to sell quick," and the $1.649 million ask looks like a pretty good deal for anything in Tribeca that isn't a closet, though it's worth noting that the sellers purchased the unit for $828,000–about half the current price–in 2012.

In March 2015, Kathryn Bigelow (who in 2010 became the first woman to win the Academy Award for Best Director for her work on "The Hurt Locker" and subsequently gained more acclaim for "Zero Dark Thirty") bought a $3.03 million condo in Tribeca, but she's now decided to part ways with it. The Observer reports that Bigelow just listed the full-floor spread at 449 Washington Street for $2,895,000, meaning she'll likely take a slight loss on the property.

After seven years on the market, Keira Knightley’s former Tribeca loft finds a buyer

This massive, duplex loft at 16 Jay Street in Tribeca has been trying to sell since April 2011. Its owner, textile designer, painter, and sculptor Gianluca Berardi, bought the pad in 2002 for $2.2 million, then undertook a lengthy overhaul that included adding the "sweeping cast-iron and mahogany staircase that was welded together inside the home in the shape of a double ellipsis," as 6sqft previously reported. She first listed it in 2009 for $8.4 million, then reduced it to $8 million in 2012, and in 2014, re-listed it as a $45,000/month rental. The following year, actress Keira Knightly rented the apartment, as did Rangers player Eric Staal. It then came back on the market for $6.6 million this past March, and now, after seven long years, it's finally found a buyer for the reduced price of $6 million, reports the Post.

Mike Myers relists Tribeca loft he bought a week ago for $15M

Nah, baby, nah... It took just a week for Mike Myers to change his mind about purchasing a sprawling $14.65 million loft in Tribeca's 443 Greenwich Street. The Observer reports the funnyman has just relisted the 4,241-square-foot spread for a slightly higher $15 million. While it's not clear what prompted his decision, Myers' move gives us a fresh look inside the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom condo currently being marketed by Compass. The firm incidentally is also trying to help him sell his Mercer Street penthouse, currently going for $15.95 million.

First look at the $30M penthouse at Robert A.M. Stern’s 30 Park Place

The top-floor units at Robert A.M. Stern's 930-foot 30 Park Place have a way of making headlines. The 82nd floor penthouse, for instance, boasts the highest private outdoor space in the city, and the building's own developer, Larry Silverstein, recently snatched up the massive 80th floor spread for $34 million. But below these units are two duplex penthouses that span the 78th and 79th floors, notable for their double-height loggias that, as Curbed notes, have become a fixture in classic Stern buildings like 15 Central Park West and 520 Park Avenue. Curbed also got their hands on new photos of penthouse 78B, on the market for $29.5 million, which not only showcase the incredible views from the terrace, but new looks at the interiors.

Mike Myers drops $14.65M on Tribeca condo at super-luxe 443 Greenwich

The red-brick, former warehouse building at 443 Greenwich Street in Tribeca was converted to boutique condos by CetraRuddy Architects and developer Metro Loft Management in 2014, and since then it's been attracting quite a bit of high-profile interest thanks to its low-profile location, luxurious lofts, and wealth of amenities. The latest celeb to cash in here is Mike Myers; the Observer reports that he and wife Kelly Tisdale have dropped $14.65 million on a four-bedroom spread (more than the $14.25 million list price). The funnyman has been trying to sell his Soho penthouse since April 2015, and though there's no word that it's found a buyer, that could very well be the reason for the move.

$8M Tribeca loft is artist-owned and comes with a spacious studio and sculptor neighbor

The interiors at this jumbo Tribeca loft are a work of art even at first glance; that's likely because the 4,223 square foot home at 173 Duane Street is currently owned by artist Merrill Steiger, who bought it in 2008 for $3.85 million. Incidentally, the two-bedroom loft co-op is also in the building where sculptor Richard Serra has lived and worked since the 1990s. Serra, who is known for his large-scale site-specific works, has at various times purchased the first, third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors of the classic early 20th-century cast iron building with his wife, Clara. The sprawling second floor apartment with a separate art studio is currently listed by Steiger for $7.95 million.

Olin reveals renderings for $30M activity-filled eco-park on Tribeca’s Pier 26

It was announced just over a year ago that starchitect Rafael Viñoly would donate his services to the Hudson River Park Trust to design an estuarium, a science education and research center, at the base of Tribeca's Pier 26. Now, Tribeca Citizen has brought us the first set of conceptual renderings of the $30 million Pier, which don't include Viñoly's building (other than as a placeholder), but show how landscape architects OLIN will transform the 800-foot pier between North Moore and Hubert Streets into a ecological park, complete with huge lounge net areas, sports fields, expansive lawns, a river esplanade, sandy dunes, wetlands to attract birds and wildlife, and elevated tree-lined pathways that are "inspired by being in the woods," according to DNAinfo.
