A 1950s Connecticut home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright has sold for $6 million. Known as "Tirranna," an Australian Aboriginal word meaning "running waters," the home at 432 Frogtown Road in New Canaan measures over 7,000 square feet and sits on 14 acres, making it one of the largest private residences ever completed by the famous architect. The horseshoe-shaped home, which cantilevers over a pond and waterfall, has had only four owners in the last 70 years, according to Mansion Global. The property was listed in May by Coldwell Banker Realty's Marsha Charles and Albert Safdie for $8 million and closed last week.

The estate of the late businesswoman, who was found dead in the home last July, listed the property at 10 East 64th Street last November for $26,500,000. Last week, as CityRealty notes, the Lenox Hill home listed for $22,500,000, a price cut of $4 million. Ivana purchased the townhouse in the early 1990s for around $2,500,000 following her divorce from Donald Trump, as 6sqft previously reported.

The Whitney Museum of Art has sold the Upper East Side's iconic Breuer Building to the auction house Sotheby's. Designed by renowned architect Marcel Breuer in 1966, the five-story building at 945 Madison Avenue is known for its striking Brutalist architecture. While the exact price of the transaction remains unknown, sources close to the deal suggest it was around $100 million, according to the New York Times. Sotheby's will take over the building next September from the Frick Collection, which has operated there temporarily since 2021,  and relocate its headquarters from York Avenue to the Breuer in 2025.
