First closings commence at Zaha Hadid’s 520 West 28th Street

July 17, 2017

The architect’s signature curves and organic indoor and outdoor architecture made the late Pritzker Prize winner Zaha Hadid’s 520 West 28th Street 6sqft’s Building of the Year. Now, closings have begun in the stunning Chelsea condo, starting with a pair of two bedroom units. Residences 9, which sold for $6 million, and 14, which sold for $6.2 million, are 2,147-square-foot two-bedroom homes with private balconies.

Everyone in the building gets access to a curated collection of amenities including a full-time concierge, doorman, luxury attache lifestyle service, hand-delivered mail, a private IMAX theater and entertaining suite with events terrace, and a wellness level with a 75-foot saline system sky-lit swimming pool, fitness center, reservable private spa suite with sauna, steam room, whirlpool, cold plunge, waterfall showers and massage beds. Additional features include automated robotic parking and storage vaults with a private viewing room.

Signature open kitchens were designed by Hadid in collaboration with Boffi and feature a sculptural marble-clad island. Other features include glass walls, energy-efficient lighting and interior air that will be filtered four times.
