Live like a former Nets coach—at least while Jason Kidd is in Milwaukee coaching the Bucks. Kidd's departure comes after some dicey events involving politicking and power grabbing after just a year on the job. But rather than dumping his Aldyn pad completely in spite, Kidd has decided to rent it out for $20,000 a month. With some serious off the hook amenities, it's no wonder why this recognized NBA All-Star purchased the Upper West Side apartment in the first place.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s Greenwich Village Townhouse Back on the Market for $22M

Everybody's favorite Sex and the City star and her hubby just put their Greenwich Village townhouse back on the market for $22 million. After a brief disappearance in April, a new listing, held by none other than Million Dollar Listing's Frederik Eklund and John Gomes, has emerged with a small price chop, down $3 million from its previous ask. The beautiful five-bedroom home at 20 East 10th Street is certainly fit for a star, measuring 6,800 square feet and boasting seven fireplaces, a private garden with a Juliet balcony, two oversized skylights, 50' long bookcases, and a full floor master bedroom with terrace—amongst many, many other luxuries. The townhouse, of course, also comes with two Carrie-worthy walk-in closets, which are worth a peek just to see what SJP has stored away.

Jimmy Fallon Buys a Fifth Apartment in His Gramercy Park Building

The Fallon family's collection of 34 Gramercy Park East apartments continues to grow. According to the Wall Street Journal, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon just purchased a cozy, top-floor studio in the famed residence for $725,000. The small space neighbors his four-bedroom apartment, which he also recently bought for $1.35 million back in April. No word on whether the units will be combined, but either way, the petite pad is pretty nice as is.

Rihanna Caught Eyeing this Full-Floor Apartment at One York in Tribeca

Surely ready to rest her bones after a whirlwind tour with Eminem, Rihanna was recently spotted scoping out the 10th floor at the Enrique Norten-designed One York in Tribeca. According to the Post, the pop star toured the luxurious $18 million listing along with her personal assistant and entourage. The 10th floor is currently made up of three units—which means a bit of work is required to adapt the space for the celeb—but when combined, the apartment will be a monstrous 5,350-square-foot floor-through home with four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms.

Meg Ryan Snags Hank Azaria’s Spacious Soho Loft for $8M

End of summer celebrity moves abound, and this latest closing sees Meg Ryan scooping up a gorgeous Soho pad from Hank Azaria for $8 million. The full-floor, 4,000 square foot loft at celebrity (and misfit) favorite 84 Mercer Street has previously been featured in Elle Decor and boasts three spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, a media room, a bright and airy 50-foot atrium hall, a key-lock elevator, and a private gym—amongst many other luxuries. Azaria himself gave up downtown living back in May when he moved his family into a more cozy and quiet $9.2 million Central Park West pad.

Adam Levine’s New Wife Behati Prinsloo Sells Her Alphabet City Pad

Earlier this month, word got out that newlyweds Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo might be buying a loft in Soho's 112 Greene Street. And now things are looking good for the power couple, as Ms. Prinsloo has sold her Alphabet City apartment for $1.65 million to fellow model Noot Seear, according to city records. Located at 643 East 11th Street, the two-bedroom condo first it the market in February for $2.1 million, but was reduced to $1.875 by April. Behati picked the pad up in 2008 for $1.4 million.

Saul Rubinek Sells Nolita Loft for $4.9 Million

Entertainment jack-of-all-trades Saul Rubinek has unloaded his Nolita loft at 285 Lafayette Street for $4,875,000, according to city records. The Canadian actor, producer, director, and playwright originally listed the three-bedroom unit in May as a $22,000/month rental. The price gradually dropped to $15,000/month by July, but now he's completely parted ways with the home, selling it for much higher than the $2.95 million he paid in 2011.

Actress Julia Stiles Sells Off Her Gramercy Apartment for $2.75M

Actress Julia Stiles may not make the news much these days, but she found her way into Variety over the weekend with the sale of her Gramercy duplex apartment. The three-bedroom pad, which sits in a six-unit brownstone building at 310 East 15th Street directly across from historic Stuyvesant Square, was placed on the market last summer for $3.5 million. While the apartment saw a price chop just a few months after being listed, Stiles still managed to finagle $2.7 million from a less than famous buyer—a pretty nice profit considering she originally paid $1.995 million for the unit 10 years ago.

Spanx Founder Sara Blakely Makes $18 Million Profit on 15 Central Park West Apartment Sale

That's right, $18 million. According to city records, Spanx founder and self-made billionaire Sara Blakely sold her apartment at 15 Central Park West for $30 million, almost triple the $12.11 million she paid for it in 2008. The sale comes on the heels of CityRealty releasing its CityRealty 100 list of most expensive homes in the city, on which 15 Central Park West is listed first. The prestigious, Robert A.M. Stern-designed building has an average price per square foot of $6,288 (the Time Warner Center, which came in second has an average of $4,689) and it also holds the priciest condo sale through the second quarter of 2014 at $48 million.

Olympic Figure Skater Sasha Cohen Snags a Pretty Plain Waverly Place Pad for $1.6M

It looks like Olympic figure skater Sasha Cohen will be boxing up all her medals for a move to the West Village. According to city records, Cohen is leaving her Times Square pad for a corner one-bedroom apartment at 136 Waverly Place. Cohen dropped $1.595 million for the pre-war digs, which are much more quaint and simple that what we'd expect for the skating star who had a Project Runway episode dedicated to designing a skating dress just for her.

Kim Kardashian Eyeing This $50M Eco-Friendly Delos Penthouse with Dramatic Staircase

Mr. and Mrs. Kardashian... Er, we mean Kim and Kanye West may be moving their brood to the East Side of Manhattan. Kim, along with Mamma Jenner and her little sis Kendall, were recently spotted looking at the penthouse at the eco-friendly Delos at 66 East 11th Street—a sprawling 7,693-square-foot unit that features a handcrafted "floating" metal staircase and a beautiful glass atrium ceiling. The unit is currently going for $50 million, not a steal by any means, but surely just a drop in the bucket for the power couple whose combined net worth approaches $200 million. Other famous residents of the Delos include Leonardo DiCaprio, who owns a $10 million two-bedroom unit.

Calling all designers and architects! The AIANY Emerging New York Architects Committee (ENYA) is now accepting entries for The City of Dreams 2015 Pavilion Design Competition. This year, FIGMENT has teamed up with ENYA and SEAofNY to host a contest that invites creatives to design and construct an architectural pavilion for next year's City of Dreams. The winning designer will be the 5th to create a project for annual event, following in the footsteps of other notables such as StudioKCA with their 2013 work, 'Head in the Clouds', which also won a Best of Year award from Interior Design Magazine in the installation category. A Glittering Tower Built from Mushrooms Rises in the MoMA PS1 Courtyard

There's a new tower in town, and for once it's not made of steel and glass... After a month of construction, David Benjamin and his firm, The Living, have completed the world's first large-scale structure made of mushroom bricks. Better known as ‘Hy-Fi‘, the tower is the winning design of this year's MoMA Young Architects Program, and like the works that preceded it, it's an idea that asks us to rethink what we know about materials, fabrication and architecture in an urban context.

Listing for NYC’s Most Expensive Home Officially Here – “The Penthouse Collection” Up for $118.5M

Last week we reported on the plans of two industrious property owners at the Ritz-Carlton in Battery Park City who were pooling their three penthouses in hopes of making a record-breaking $118.5 million sale. Hearsay no more because it looks like the listing for the space has officially emerged, and will be managed by none other than power broker Ryan Serhant at Nestseekers. Aptly dubbed 'The Penthouse Collection', the combined 39th and 40th floor spaces owned by Randall Yanker and Gary Segal offer up a staggering duplex totaling 15,434 square feet — or in layman's terms (or is that possible with something this size?) 12 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms with "the potential" to extend both those numbers further. 20-foot ceilings, three kitchens, four terraces, and multiple living areas also means its a good thing that hotel amenities include housekeeping.

Giant Rocking Horse Head Sculpture by Jeff Koons Going Up at Rockefeller Center

Is it a giant rat? A horse? A dinosaur? Those passing by 30 Rock over the past week and a half have probably been wondering what's going up in the famed plaza (at least we have). Word has it that Jeff Koons is back in the 'hood, this time with a massive sculpture of a pony, or "Split-Rocker", grafted in living flowers and complete with an internal irrigation system. Prodigy Network Announces Winning Designs for 17John “Cotel” – NYC’s First Crowdsourced Hotel

Remember that competition held in February to crowdsource the design of a hotel to be located in downtown Manhattan? Looks like the results are in and Prodigy Network just announced the winners of the competition for the 17John ‘Cotel’ (collaborative + hotel = cotel). The winning designs cover both the public interior spaces and the private rooms of 17John, and as the competition brief outlined, all the rooms are specifically tailored to the modern business traveler. Rooms range from long-term living spaces to more standard short-stay hotel rooms. The hotel will also be equipped with flexible spaces for work and meetings, and digital services that "provide comfort, community, and connectivity for its guests".

Moby Sells Off His ‘Tiny’ But Charming Mott Street Penthouse for a Cool $2 Million

Electronic music maker Moby has just sold off his "tiny" penthouse at 262 Mott Street in Nolita. Moby bought the home for a mere $215,750 back in 1996 and managed to make quite a bit of money with the recent sale, turning a profit of about $1.5 million after taxes (we guess the artist is now eating crow). The 950-square-foot, 1BR/1BA home is covered with large vaulted skylights and also boasts exposed brick walls, a sleeper mezzanine loft and a private 875-square-foot garden terrace. The listing was held by Corcoran's Julie Pham.

Director Ken Burns Scoops Up a Condo in Richard Meier’s Prospect Heights Tower

It looks like documentary filmmaker Ken Burns is moving his family into Pritzker Prize winning architect Richard Meier’s On Prospect Park. The Burns family dropped $2.75 million on the home, which is located in one of Brooklyn's most beautiful (and active) corners — just steps away from Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, and the incredible Brooklyn Museum and Public Library. It's reported that the Mamma and Papa Burns spend most their time in New Hampshire, so it's likely that the 2,107-square-foot, 3BR/2.5BA modern abode will become the love nest of his daughter Lily (who was also listed on city records) and her fiance Tony Hernandez, both of whom are producers.

Stunning 19th Century Washington Heights Townhouse Sells for $2.2 Million

Society pianist Peter Mintun, has just sold his stunning Washington Heights townhouse to Columbia Artists Music mogul Jean-Jacques Cesbron and his wife, for $2.2 million. The beautiful four-story, 5BR/3BA home was designed by Henri Fouchaux and constructed in 1896. Located at 436 West 162 Street in the Jumel Terrace Historic District, it is considered one of the best preserved buildings of its type. Original wood and details like speaking tubes, skylights, pocket doors, a working dumb waiter, and seven tiled fireplaces are just some of the incredible features that can be found within. The home has even appeared in the scenes of several movies and documentaries, and is often highlighted on neighborhood tours.
