Jersey City has a new most expensive condo. A four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath penthouse at 75 Park Lane closed for $5,700,000, Strategic Capital, the developer of the high-rise, announced on Tuesday. This sale takes the title from the previous record-holder in the city, 99 Hudson Street, where a penthouse sold for $4,438,500 last October.

Rising 37 stories, 75 Park Lane South is part of the Park and Shore development, which consists of two residential buildings located on the waterfront in Jersey City’s Newport neighborhood.

Developed by Strategic Capital, the real estate investment platform of China Construction America, 75 Park Lane opened in 2020. Designed by Woods Bagot, the building has 358 total residences, ranging from studios to three bedrooms with a selection of penthouses. Homes boast wide-plank oak floors, oversized windows, open floor plans, high-end finishes, and state-of-the-art appliances.

The recently sold $5,700,000 penthouse has four bedrooms, four and a half baths, and an 800-square-foot terrace, according to a press release.

Amenities at 75 Park Lane include an indoor heated swimming pool, wine-tasting lounge, private dining room, a putting green, children’s play area, co-working lounge, a porte cochère entrance, and a “sky lounge” with a terrace and views of the Hudson River and New York City skyline.

The penthouse sale marks another record-breaking deal for New Jersey’s Hudson County. In early January, a penthouse at the Hudson Tea Building sold for $4,200,000, a new sales record for Hoboken.
