Ivana Trump's five-story limestone townhouse on the Upper East Side has hit the market. Trump, who was found dead at her home in July, bought the property at 10 East 64th Street in the early 1990s for roughly $2,500,000 following her divorce from Donald Trump and decorated it in an over-the-top opulence. As first reported by the Wall Street Journal, the estate of the late businesswoman is selling the townhouse for $26,500,000, with the furniture up for grabs, if the buyer is interested.

Donald Trump’s former Connecticut estate tries again for $29.9M, nearly half its highest listing price

The six-acre estate on the Greenwich, Connecticut, waterfront that was owned by former president Donald Trump and his late ex-wife Ivana in the 1980s is back on the market for $29.9 million, the Wall Street Journal reports. The home's present owners, investment banker Robert Steinberg and his wife Suzanne, bought it for $15 million in 1998. The Georgian mansion at 21 Vista Drive, with sweeping views of Long Island Sound, has been on and off the market since 2009 when the Steinbergs listed it for $50 million; it was relisted for $54 million in 2014. As 6sqft previously reported, it has seen several price cuts since then, but no takers.

Bed-Stuy’s historic Jacob Dangler House has been demolished

The Jacob Dangler House, the historic French Gothic mansion that has sat on the corner of Willoughby and Nostrand Avenues in Bed-Stuy for 120 years, was demolished last week. Despite a campaign led by local residents and public officials to landmark the building, the city's Department of Buildings issued a permit for a full demolition on Tuesday, according to Brownstoner. The developer plans to build apartments on the site, as 6sqft previously reported.

A quintessential Upper East Side townhouse with all the trimmings always makes a few waves when it hits the market–especially if it has a Hollywood connection. This 4,275-square-foot brownstone at 154 East 74th Street was once home to Debbie Reynolds and her daughter Carrie Fisher. According to the NY Post, Reynolds' son, Todd Fisher, recalls fond memories of growing up in the Manhattan townhouse–specifically the garden-level screening room, where the family spent many an evening--in his 2018 memoir. Asking $11.5 million, the four-story home has newly-renovated interiors that complement vintage craftsman details as well as luxurious additions like a wine cellar, fully-stocked gym, and landscaped rear patio.

Mariano Rivera, a Hall of Fame pitcher not accustomed to losing, sold his Westchester home at a significant loss this month. The former New York Yankee bought the mansion for $5.7 million in 2006 and listed it for $3.995 million in 2020. As the Wall Street Journal reported, the nine-bedroom home in Rye closed last week for $3.783 million, a loss of roughly $1.9 million.

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka found a buyer this month for their five-story Harlem townhouse, which first hit the market last August for $7,325,000. As first reported by the New York Post, the home at 2036 Fifth Avenue is in contract for more than $7,100,000, likely setting a new record for a townhouse sale in the Upper Manhattan neighborhood. The home, constructed in 1908 as a bed-and-breakfast, measures 8,000 square feet and 20 feet wide.

After hitting the market for $50 million in 2019, the seven-story Gilded-Age Upper East Side townhouse where late socialite Gloria Vanderbilt lived as a child has sold for $32.2 million. According to the New York Post, a group of Russian investors bought the 27-foot-wide mansion for $19 million in 2014 with plans to transform the property into three separate condo units and sell for $70 million. The investors sold the home at 39 East 72nd Street to an unknown buyer using an LLC, according to the newspaper.
