Luxury Jersey City rental The Beach has tons of outdoor space overlooking the skyline

May 3, 2021

Developer LeFrak began work on Newport, the 600-acre planned community on the Jersey City waterfront, in 1986, and today they’re launching leasing at a new luxury rental within the neighborhood. The Beach is a 336-unit project that not only offers residences with views of the entire Manhattan skyline, but has several outdoor spaces including a landscaped waterfront courtyard with grilling stations and fire pits, an outdoor pool and sun deck overlooking Hudson Yards, and a sixth-floor roof deck with multiple seating areas. In addition, The Beach is located right next to Newport Green, the neighborhood’s four-acre park and playground complete with a sandy beach.

The Beach was designed by HLW Architects, who wrapped the structure in undulating terraces that are meant to mimic the rippling effect of the Hudson River. The development is comprised of two residential towers reaching 12 and 25 stories.

“The Beach brings together all of the new must-have features – spacious layouts, thoughtful amenities, prime waterfront location, and plentiful green space – that renters want right now in a vibrant community with everything seconds away,” said Richard Wernick, managing director of residential leasing for LeFrak. “We are thrilled to introduce this unmatched residential development and look forward to welcoming our first residents.”

The amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby with concierge and package lockers, a coworking lounge with private breakout rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center with a separate fitness studio, a children’s playroom, a library, a game room, and on-site parking and bike storage (for an extra fee). Outside, there’s a landscaped dog run, a gorgeous waterfront courtyard complete with grilling stations and fire pits, a pool and sun deck, and a sixth-floor roof deck with multiple seating areas.

As mentioned, the building is also adjacent to the Newport Green park and Sandy Beach, the only urban beach along the Hudson River. The Hoboken PATH and NJ Transit stations are just minutes away, making commuting incredibly easy.

The interiors were designed by K&Co. All residences have oversized windows, spacious terraces or Juliet balconies, contemporary open-plan kitchens, and expansive closet space.

Pricing for The Beach begins at $2,450 per month for a studio. Current availabilities start at $3,125 for a one-bedroom, $4,625 for a two-bedroom, and $5,920 for a three-bedroom. As of the time of publication, The Beach is offering two months free on 12+ month leases.
