New Yorkers are used to dealing with trade-offs when it comes to finding an apartment, weighing a prime location against views or amenities against outdoor space. A new rental in Fort Greene aims to make the decision a little easier. Located directly on Fort Greene Park, 240 Willoughby offers easy access to not only one of Brooklyn’s best parks but also 30,000 square feet of amenities and sweeping city views, all while being at the heart of one of the city’s best neighborhoods for community and culture.

Developed by Fetner Properties, 240 Willoughby is a new development with two 32-story towers located across from Fort Greene Park. The 30-acre public green space dates to the Revolutionary War and later redesigned by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, the duo behind Central Park and Prospect Park. Today, parkgoers enjoy tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground, and weekly programs and activities.

Clad in glass with a gold-colored grid framework, 240 Willoughby has 463 apartments, ranging from studios to two bedrooms. The well-designed residences feature premium finishes, flexible layouts, floor-to-ceiling windows, and custom integrated Bluetooth speaker systems.

Most units even come with a private outdoor terrace or balcony, making indoor-outdoor living possible. Residents of the penthouse homes that take up the top four floors enjoy 360-degree views.

The building offers more than 30,000 square feet of amenities for residents of all ages, from a fitness studio and business lounge to an arcade and video game room and children’s playroom. For pet owners, there’s a dog run and a pet spa.

Other impressive perks include on-site parking and a landscaped roof deck with barbecue grills.

Residents of 240 Willoughby are never far from art and live music, surrounded by New York City institutions like the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), Barclays Center, Brooklyn Paramount, the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA), and more.

All within a small area are over a dozen subway lines, making exploring the rest of the borough and the city a breeze.

Beyond the cultural offerings, the neighborhood offers a convenient lifestyle, with tons of neighborhood retail and dining options. City Point is home to DeKalb Market food hall, Trader Joe’s, Target, and Alamo Drafthouse, and discount grocery stores Aldi and Lidl opened on Fulton Street in the last year.

Fort Greene is home to some of highly regarded restaurants and cafes, too, including Sailor, Miss Ada, Los Burritos Juarez, and Habana Outpost.

Apartments at 240 Willoughby currently start at $3,476/month for a studio.
