Actor and filmmaker Vincent Gallo is ready to bid adieu to his Chelsea pad. According to the NYDN, Gallo has listed his apartment for $2.95 million—about a $1 million more than what he paid for it two years ago. The one-bedroom home is located on the fifth floor of starchitect Jean Nouvel’s glassy creation at 100 Eleventh Avenue. A few highlights of Gallo’s space include a curved wall of glass and a floor-to-ceiling pivoting glass door that opens to a den with a private terrace.

The open plan living/dining/kitchen space features voluminous ceilings, terrazzo floors and views from the curved wall made up of distinct, individually-shaped windows. A chef’s kitchen boasts a cooking island and top-of-the-line appliances.

A pivoting glass door opens to a den with a private balcony that looks onto a sculptural atrium constructed of steel and glass, which includes the fantastic suspended irrigated tree box installation.

The building itself is one of the city’s most notable and stands out even in architecturally diverse Chelsea. Its prime location also puts it just a stone’s throw away from the High Line Park as well as some of the city’s best restaurants and shops.
