According to city records, Law & Order; SVU star B.D Wong has officially sold his East 4^th Street apartment for asking, after being in contract since March. The ground floor loft has a below-ground bedroom and a colorful palette that reminds us of something a stylish interior designer would create for the Joker’s bachelor pad, assuming the Joker wants to pick up chicks. We’re guessing the new owner is not much of daytime person, as this loft doesn’t have a lot of natural light, but what it does have is quite the story to tell. If these walls could talk they’d tell you all kinds of stories from their days as a sweatshop, a Yiddish theater, and an x-rated movie theater.

The 2,950-square-foot was fully-renovated by Wong with architect Jack Wettling, and was featured in the NY Times in 2012. The listing was held by Wong’s personal trainer Rob Morea of Great Jones Realty.

Six years and one unit sold later, boutique Noho condo 22 Bond Street relaunched sales last month, with a sleek three-bedroom duplex now on the market. Designed by BKSK Architects, the six-unit luxury building first launched sales in 2016 but residences, all of which are three-bedroom duplexes with private outdoor space, have struggled to sell. Asking $8,000,000, the available apartment measures over 2,900 square feet and has a balcony that overlooks the building's lush multi-level garden.

A $35M Puck Building penthouse just hit the market, with 8,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor space

If you're in the market for a penthouse, it doesn't get much more penthouse-y than the AD100-architect-designed, 6,000-square-foot Penthouse IV condominium atop Nolita's iconic Puck Building at 293 Lafayette Street. At $35,000,000, the princely property is priced accordingly for a mansion-sized four-bedroom sky-palace that includes a gym, bar, home theater, hot tub, and 2,000 square feet of terrace space with an outdoor TV and pergola. Actor Anthony Rapp’s Noho loft studio, bought with ‘Rent’ money, is now asking $1.95M

This classic loft studio in the landmarked building at 1 Bond Street was, for 23 years, the home of actor Anthony Rapp, who played the leading role of Mark Cohen in the Broadway hit "Rent," as well as in the film version. The actor, who had lived in an East Village walk-up much like the ones featured in the play, purchased the downtown loft 23 years ago for $375,000 saved from his burgeoning acting career. The 1,250 square-foot second-floor studio–with beautifully designed custom renovations added by Rapp over the years–is now asking $1.95 million.

After 30+ years, Andy Warhol’s art director lists Noho penthouse for $6M

Marc Balet was the longtime art director for Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine, as well as for his talk show 15 Minutes that aired on MTV from 1985 to 1987. Around this same time, in the late '80s, he purchased a three-floor loft at 620 Broadway in Noho that was used as a dance studio. He transformed it into a beautiful, light-filled live-work home, even calling on his friend Fran Lebowitz to have her father, who owned a furniture store, create custom curtains for the 17-foot-tall space. The window treatments remain today, as do many other personal mementos, including lava lamps gifted by Pee-Wee Herman and a huge wall of celebrity photographs. Balet has now decided to put the home on the market for $5,995,000 and considering it also has an incredible amount of outdoor space, it's a place not to be missed.
