A new rental building in Clinton Hill has launched a middle-income housing lottery for 13 units. The apartments, which are available to those earning 130 percent of the area median income, include $2,431/month studios, $2,592/month one-bedrooms, and $3,090/month two-bedrooms. By comparison, market-rate units in the building start around $3,000/month for studios and $4,800/month for two-bedrooms. The boutique building is located at 26 Quincy Street and offers tenants an on-site gym, rooftop, covered parking, and laundry in each unit.

The five-story building at 26 Quincy Street topped out in November 2020, according to Brownstoner, who also noted that it’s next to a historically significant building that was recently home to a Salvation Army but is being developed into condos. It’s located on a short block between Downing Street and Classon Avenue, just four blocks from the G train at Classon Avenue and a short walk to the A and C trains at either Clinton-Washington Avenues or Franklin Avenue.

The apartments have stone kitchen countertops, sleek custom cabinetry, hardwood floors throughout, luxury bathrooms, and split A/C units with separate climate controls for each room. There are also dishwashers and washers/dryers in each apartment.

Qualifying New Yorkers can apply for the affordable units until September 3, 2021. Complete details on how to apply are available here. Questions regarding this offer must be referred to NYC’s Housing Connect department by dialing 311.

If you don’t qualify for the housing lotteries mentioned, visit CityRealty.com’s no-fee rentals page for other apartment deals in the city.
