A bold new Bed-Stuy rental recently launched a housing lottery for 30 mixed-income apartments. Located at 126 Sandford Street, the 10-story Prisma House brightens the block with its turquoise-clad facade and 120 contemporary residences inside. New Yorkers earning 40, 60, and 110 percent of the area median income can apply for the units, priced from $874/month for one bedrooms.

Developed by Rivington Company and designed by SBJ Group, the building contains a total of 120 apartments in one and two-bedroom layouts.
The residences at Prisma House feature open layouts to maximize natural light, offering sweeping views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan skylines. Each unit includes in-unit washers and dryers, stainless steel appliances, designer bathrooms with freestanding vanities, window treatments, and smart controls for heating and cooling. Select apartments also feature private balconies.

Amenities include a lounge with co-working spaces, a media room, a fitness center, a landscaped rooftop terrace with lounge areas, bike storage, a virtual doorman, smart locks, and a garage with electric vehicle charging stations.
Nearby public transit options include the G subway and the B44 and B54 buses.
Permits for the building were filed in February 2020, according to city property records.

Qualifying New Yorkers can apply for the apartments until June 30, 2025. Complete details on how to apply are available here. Preference for 20 percent of the units will be given to residents of Brooklyn Community District 3.
