The New York Knicks are hosting watch parties for game three of their second-round NBA playoff series. Fans can venture to Madison Square Garden on Friday night to watch the game inside the world’s most famous arena or outside the venue on giant screens starting at 7 p.m. The team heads into tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers up 2-0 in the best-of-seven series.

Attendees can watch the game on GardenVision inside MSG. Tickets cost $10, with proceeds benefiting the Garden of Dreams Foundation. Concessions will be available, along with merchandise for purchase.
The outdoor watch party, free and open to the public, will be held at Plaza 33 on 33rd Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues. The main entrance will be closest to Seventh Avenue near the Penn Station entrance.
Attendees can expect giveaways, contests, photo opportunities, appearances by Knicks alumni, and more.

No pre-registration is required. Fans may bring small bags and pack food or drinks, except alcoholic beverages. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, as folding chairs are not permitted, and oversized bags are also prohibited.
For those who cannot make it to the watch party, the Knicks are also taking over bars across all five boroughs during playoff games, where fans can watch the game at full volume alongside other supporters. A list of participating locations can be found here.
Plaza 33 is a pedestrian plaza in the heart of the Penn District that opened in 2024. Designed by MNLA, the space provides a public space with trees, seating, and lighting right next to Penn Station. The outdoor plaza offers free events, music, and workshops throughout the year and is surrounded by several new restaurants and retail stores, as 6sqft previously reported.
