Here’s a first look at a custom-designed penthouse in One Domino Square, the tallest condo in Williamsburg. The three-bedroom, three-bath home is the first penthouse designed by acclaimed Irish furniture brand Orior, with interiors that echo the luxurious yet simplistic design of the Selldorf Architects-designed residential skyscraper and magnificent views stretching beyond the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines.

The residence features a mix of custom and existing Orior furniture, along with rugs designed specifically for the space by Katie Ann McGuigan, and lighting by Blue Green Works and Bocci.

Cameron Stewart’s artwork, on display in Orior’s showroom, is showcased throughout the penthouse.

The home also features light oak flooring, custom sconces and mirrors designed by Annabelle Selldorf, a chef’s kitchen equipped with Gaggenau appliances, custom closets, and ensuite bathrooms with double vanities, standing showers, and a standalone 60-inch soaking tub.

Each room of the penthouse features a curated color scheme, with distinct palettes in each bedroom that create inviting atmospheres and complement the versatility of Orior furniture in different settings.

Expansive views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and the Williamsburg Bridge can be seen through large, bespoke tilt-and-turn windows, as well as from a private outdoor terrace.

“Selldorf Architects’ vision of connecting the interiors to the neighborhood through oversized windows inspired us to treat the views as the primary artwork, designing the space around the city’s skyline,” Jordan Trinci-Lyne, brand director at Orior, said. “Low, compact furniture ensures an unobstructed view, while the coffee table with a polished white limestone top nods to the building’s porcelain façade, shifting hues with the changing light.”

“We also incorporated organic and rounded shapes within our furniture to foster a dialogue between the interior’s soft contours and the urban landscape’s sharp angles.”

Developed by Two Trees Management, One Domino Square is situated in the southern portion of the 11-acre Domino Sugar Factory redevelopment. The property includes a 39-story tower with 160 condos and a 55-story rental with 400 units, the latter of which is the tallest building in Williamsburg.

The skyscraper, architect Annabelle Selldorf’s first residential tower design, features a striking iridescent porcelain facade that shifts its appearance, allowing it to both stand out and blend in with the surrounding architecture, depending on the light.

The two towers are connected by a seven-story podium housing roughly 45,000 square feet of amenities and ground-floor retail. Amenities include an aquatics center with a heated indoor swimming pool, cold plunge, steam room, sauna, hydrotherapy spa, poolside private showers, and treatment rooms.

There’s also a fitness center, multiple lounges, an open-air solarium, and a co-working space with dedicated WiFi.

Residents also have access to Domino Square, a new one-acre public park that opened in September.

There are currently 15 condos listed at the building, starting at $1,800,000 for a one-bedroom apartment.
