After making a move on up to the penthouse this past spring, actor Willem Dafoe has shed his full-through third floor pad for $2.875 million, according to city records filed today. Dafoe originally purchased the two-bedroom co-op located at 67 Perry Street for $1.6 million back in 2005—meaning the actor made a tidy $1.28 million profit with the recent sale. The cozy home comes with exposed brick walls, a wood-burning fireplace, separate study nook with built-in bookshelves, and tranquil tree-top views from oversized bay windows.
Inside a windowed eat-in kitchen provides a wonderful space for entertaining, as does the updated kitchen featuring op-of-the-line appliances including a SubZero refrigerator, Miele dishwasher, and professional Viking stove. The master bedroom has two exposures and a charming en-suite bathroom with a sunken jetted tub with teak surround.
The unit was originally listed for $3.1 million earlier this year after Dafoe snagged the top floor of the West Village building. The lucky buyers of the home are Frank and Lisa Mauceri, owners of record company Smog Veil Records.
