The 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Italy are underway, with top athletes from around the world competing for gold. While the competition has already begun, sports bars across New York City are hosting watch parties and serving Olympic-themed specials. From screenings at AMC movie theaters to fondue at a cozy, ski-lodge-themed rooftop in Times Square, here are some of the best spots to catch the 2026 Winter Olympics in NYC.

One of New York City’s most-visited destinations is offering guests a unique way to experience the Winter Olympics. Free and open to the public, the Olympic takeover features a 12-foot-tall ice sculpture from Ralph Lauren, the official outfitter of Team USA—the first ice sculpture of this scale ever displayed at Rockefeller Center. Visitors can also enjoy Olympic-themed photo opportunities throughout the plaza, while the restaurant 5 Acres is hosting watch parties and serving a special menu curated for the games.

The rooftop is hosting around-the-clock viewing parties throughout the games, offering themed cocktails and both savory and sweet fondue options. Reservations are available on RESY, with guests advised to select the “West Terrace” when booking.
