Just as the summer months are hitting their stride, two food options have arrived at Brooklyn Heights’ ONE°15 Marina in Brooklyn Bridge Park: a waterfront bistro called Estuary and a more casual cafe called Ebb & Flow. With James Beard Award-winning chef Francois Payard as Culinary Director at both locations, the emphasis is on simple dishes highlighting seasonal, local produce, seafood, and meat. Payard is joined by Executive Chef Danny Brown, who earned a Michelin star for his own Danny Brown Wine Bar & Kitchen in Queens.

“The world-renowned Payard brings decades of experience and award-winning recipes to our Brooklyn location, where his French-inspired fare, locally sourced ingredients, and unique menu design will please boaters, New Yorkers and ONE°15’s many guests,” said Estelle Lau, ONE°15 Brooklyn Marina’s deputy CEO.

The Estuary menu features three variations on tartare alongside a selection of tarts, sandwiches, burgers, seasonal salads, and a raw bar—including locally sourced oysters from Long Island’s Peconic Bay. The 150-seat, 5,000 square-foot interior focuses on nautical-inspired decor, complete with marine-blue accents, a wraparound cocktail bar, and an ice cream sundae station. To make the most of the setting in these summer months, there are additional seats outdoors, where diners can take in great views of Lower Manhattan.

Payard is also overseeing an adjacent grab-and-go-concept called Ebb & Flow, which will offer a selection of quick bites, both savory and sweet. Their signature is the “Bsquared Box”, a take on the bento box that comes with a protein, a side dish, a salad, and a tart—what you’d need to stay full and happy during a day at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The ONE°15 Brooklyn Marina opened earlier this season at full capacity. Located just south of the Brooklyn Bridge between Piers 4 and 5 in Brooklyn Bridge Park, the marina features a sailing club and school, 100-plus berths for vessels up to 200 feet, and a community dock that supports programs offering free and low-cost waterfront and boating activities. Weather permitting, the marina will be open through October 31st.
