Hudson Yards’ 1,100-foot-high observation deck Edge, the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, announced a special partnership with Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation to celebrate Pride month. There will be a colorful art installation on the Skyline Steps that encourages visitors to share messages of kindness, affirmation, and love. In addition, visitors can purchase “Born This Way” cocktails and guest packages, tickets to “Sky High” Pride Yoga, and more in support of the LGBTQIA+ community. A portion of sales will go to the Foundation.

The Born This Way Foundation was co-founded by Lady Gaga and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, to support the mental health of young people, aiming to “make kindness cool, validate the emotions of young people, and eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health” through high-impact programming, youth-led conversations, and strategic cross-sectoral partnerships. Throughout the month of June, the Foundation will be supporting LGBTQIA+ organizations across the country, including The Ali Forney Center and the Hetrick-Martin Institute in New York City.

To support the Foundation’s work, Edge has put together the following offerings for Pride month:

  • Edge x Born This Way Skyline Steps Art Installation: The skyline steps will transform into a colorful art display. When sharing images of the installation, Born This Way Foundation encourages the use of kind messaging that affirms, loves, and celebrates everyone for who they are.
  • “Born This Way” Cocktail: $1 from each cocktail sold will be donated to Born This Way Foundation.
  • Born This Way Foundation Pride Package: This package includes admission to Edge, a “Born This Way” cocktail, an Edge x Born This Way Foundation postcard (guests are encouraged to write a message of kindness, love, and affirmation that will be sent through LGBTQIA+ community organizations to youth across the country.)
  • “Sky High” Pride Yoga Class at Edge: On June 24, Edge and Equinox Hudson Yards will offer a Pride yoga experience with Born This Way Foundation receiving a portion of the proceeds from all tickets sold. The event features Equinox’s signature morning yoga class on Edge’s 100th-floor outdoor sky deck. Attendees will also receive a gift bag and special access to Edge’s outdoor viewing areas.
  • Edge Retail Round-Ups: Through the month of June, Edge gift shops will offer customers the opportunity to “round-up” their purchases to be donated to Born This Way Foundation in support of LGBTQIA+ community organizations across the country.
