Another one of Boaz Gilad‘s reported 40+ Brooklyn projects has met the finish line with leasing kicking off at the Marcí in Bedford-Stuyvestant. Rising eight floors from the corner of Marcy Avenue and Kosciusko Street, the 35,000-square-foot project presents an inoffensive Rubik’s Cube design hashed up by Franklyn Estrella Architects. Inside are 41 studio, one- and two-bedroom no-fee apartments. Pricing of the building’s seven active units are rather affordable for new construction, with available units ranging from $1,846/month studios, $2,862/month one-bedrooms, and $2,723/month two-bedrooms.
Apartments feature wide-plank, white oak flooring, oversized windows, Bosch washer/dryers, and balconies for select units. Chefs kitchens are outfitted with London Grey Caesarstone countertops, imported Spanish Rustik Ash Oak cabinetry, and a suite of high-end stainless steel appliances by Bosch and Fischer & Paykel. Bathrooms have custom Ordonez white and elm vanities, Maxx deep-soaking bathtubs, porcelain grey-toned floors, and Porcelanosa chrome fixtures.
The pet-friendly building’s amenities include a roof deck with views toward Manhattan, a fitness center, resident lounge with a television and billiards table, and bicycle storage. The G-train’s Bedford-Nostrand station is close by, and across the street is the eight-acre Herbert Von King Park designed by Olmsted & Vaux.
