While perks like outdoor pools and well-equipped gyms are important to some New Yorkers, most look for one thing before any amenity: proximity to the subway. The subway is the lifeblood of New York, and living near a station makes commuting and exploring the rest of the city a lot easier, saving both time and money. We found eight new apartment buildings that are next to, across the street from, or within a block of the subway.
Some of the properties featured here are part of paid partnerships, which help support our editorial work. All buildings are selected and independently reviewed by the 6sqft team.
