A housing lottery launched this week for 15 affordable apartments in Williamsburg. The rental at 31 Ainslie Street is currently accepting applications from New Yorkers earning 60 percent of the area median income, or an annual household income of between $28,286 and $73,680. Just steps from the Metropolitan G and L trains, the building is near a number of notable bars, restaurants, and vintage shops.

Developed by the Chetrit Group, the five-story building contains 15 total units. Available apartments include three $825/month studios, four $818/month one-bedrooms, and $995/month two-bedrooms. The building boasts a shared laundry room.

Qualifying New Yorkers can apply for the affordable units until August 25, 2020. Complete details on how to apply are available here. Questions regarding this offer must be referred to NYC’s Housing Connect department by dialing 311.

If you don’t qualify for the housing lotteries mentioned, visit CityRealty.com’s no-fee rentals page for other apartment deals in the city.
