It sure does look like the French countryside, but this gorgeous estate is actually in Huntington, New York. Called Escapade a la Campagne (“getaway in the countryside”), the home was built in 2017 by its current owners and comes complete with everything you need to feel like you’ve escaped to Provence–a greenhouse, bocci court, a saltwater pool, and the nearly 10,000-square-foot main house with its soaring beamed ceilings and country details. The 5.4-acre property also includes an entire solar farm and is adjacent to a protected nature preserve. It’s currently asking $7,900,000.

The house is clad in stucco and stone and begins through a large front courtyard.

The entry foyer opens right into the massive great room, where the wood-beamed ceilings steal the show.

The great room opens to a large patio.

Between the great room and kitchen is a convenient wine room.

The kitchen is a chef’s dream, with a large pantry, double ovens, a double-wide range with a rented hood, two dishwashers, both a farmhouse sink and a separate prep sink, and most notably, a massive glass-door refrigerator. There’s also a lovely tin ceiling, white subway tile backsplash, an oversized island with counter seating, and room for a dining table.

The kitchen is adjacent to a bright sitting room, which then opens to the large patio.

A hallway off the kitchen also leads to the gorgeous greenhouse.

On the other side of the great room, you’ll find a cozy library with exposed brick walls and tons of built-in shelving.

In addition, there’s a home theater and an art studio with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors.

The master suite rounds out the first floor. It has his-and-her bathrooms and walk-in closets, as well as a fireplace.

The master opens to a courtyard deck that really feels like you’ve been transported to Europe.

Upstairs, there’s a gorgeous loft space set under the beamed ceilings.

In total, there are seven more bedrooms, one of which opens to its own sitting room.

One of the bedrooms is set up as an office that opens to a deck.

The lower level holds storage space, a laundry room, and a home gym.

Outside, there’s a saltwater pool, a bocce court, and beautifully landscaped gardens.
