Inside Hillary and Bill Clintons’ Sprawling $100K Hamptons Rental
It looks like Hillary Clinton is hoping to add some R&R to her campaigning spree at the end of August. The Post reports that the Democratic presidential candidate and husband Bill are renting a sizable mansion at 44 Broadview Road in Amagansett from Republican art collector Andre Nasser and his wife, Sotheby’s real estate bigwig, Lois. The reported price? Oh, a mere $100,000 for two weeks.
A source told the Post, “The Clintons are renting the house for two weeks. They’ll be joined by Chelsea, her husband, Marc, and their baby daughter, Charlotte. [But] Hillary doesn’t want headlines saying, ‘Presidential hopeful kicking back in the Hamptons,’ so she’ll be busy while she’s there.”
The Clintons stayed in the six-bedroom home last year, but this year’s jaunt will include plenty of campaign fundraisers. And what better place to collect checks than the wealthy’s oceanside playground?
The home is located on 1.8 acres on the bluffs and features 200-foot vistas of the water. In total there are 7,500 square feet for the Clintons to stretch out in. There is also a heated pool and a commercial kitchen. You can see more photos of the luxurious spread in our gallery below.
