The 19-story rental at 321 Wythe Avenue opened in 2019, just two blocks from the South Williamsburg waterfront. After initially opening a lottery for 39 middle-income units, the building is relaunching its waitlist for these apartments. Currently, there are two vacant units, but all applicants will be placed on the list for future vacancies. Those earning 130 percent of the area median income can apply for the units that range from a $1,999/month one-bedroom to $2,459/month two-bedrooms.

Not only is 321 Wythe in a prime location between South 2nd and South 3rd Streets–it’s just two blocks from Domino Park on the waterfront and right near great restaurants and bars like Freehold, Misi, and Sunday in Brooklyn–but it offers tenants three floors of amenities including a business lounge and conference room, laundry room, library, media room, gym with sauna and locker rooms, rock-climbing wall, and parking. Outdoor amenities include a barbecue and grilling area, bocce court, fire pit, gardening area, and a patio with cabanas and greenery. And since the building rises higher than most around it, there are amazing views of the Manhattan skyline and East River.

As for the apartments, they have parquet flooring, oversized double-pane windows that are insulated to reduce noise, and stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. The building was developed with Watermark Capital Group and designed by ND Architecture.

Qualifying New Yorkers can enter the waitlist for the affordable units until September 20, 2021. Complete details on how to apply are available here. Questions regarding this offer must be referred to NYC’s Housing Connect department by dialing 311.
