Per the MTA’s Weekend Subway Service Advisory, there are a ton of changes in store for straphangers this weekend, which, when compounded with the weather forecast, makes for all the more reason to stay home. There are a number of trains that have scheduled delays or will be making local stops – ahead are the direst of the weekend service changes.

The 1 train will be bypassing 137 St, 125 St, 116 St, 110 St, and 103 St from 9:45pm Friday to 5am Monday morning.

The 2 and 3 trains won’t be running in Brooklyn this weekend from 11:45pm Friday to 5am Monday. In Manhattan, the 2 will be running local between 34 St.-Penn Station and South Ferry and the 3 will only be running between Harlem-148 St and 14 St. The Park Place and Wall St stations are closed. A free out-of-system transfer will be available between the South Ferry 1 and 2 and the Bowling Green 4 and 5 as something of a peace offering.

The 4 and 5 will be picking up some of the 2 and 3’s slack with 4 service extended to New Lots Av and 5 service extended to Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College and both trains running locally. Clark St. and Hoyt St. will not be serviced. The lines have problems of their own, however, and Woodlawn-bound 4 trains will be skipping 161 St, 167 St, 170 St, Mt. Eden Av and 176 St from 3:45am Saturday to 10pm Sunday.

From 11:15pm Friday to 5am Monday A trains are suspended in both directions between Broad Channel and Far Rockaway; the A will be operating between 168 St and Broad Channel but via the S to and from Rockaway Park. Shuttle busses will pick up the slack between Beach 90 St and Far Rockaway. The A will also be suspended between Inwood-207 St and 168 St in both directions, with free shuttle busses as an alternative and also the 1 train (it’ll be stopping at 168 St and 207 St).

Uptown C trains will run express from Canal St. to 145 St.

Norwood bound D trains will skip 182-183 Sts from 11:45pm Friday to 5am Monday.

You can expect some Brooklyn-bound F trains to end service at 2 Av. Uptown/Queens-bound F and G trains will be skipping Fort Hamilton Pkway, 15 St-Prospect Park, and 4 Av-9 St from 11:45pm Friday to 5am Monday.

From 9:45pm Friday to 5am Monday, G trains are suspended in both directions between Bedford Nostrand-Avs and Court Sq . Free shuttle busses will be making all skipped stops.

J trains are suspended in both directions between Essex St and Broad St from 9:45pm Friday to 5am Monday. From 3:45am Saturday to 5am Monday, J trains are also suspended in both directions between Crescent St and Jamaica Center. Shuttle busses will be making all stops between Crescent St and 121 St.

M trains are suspended in both directions between Essex St and Broadway Junction. The MTA recommends you take the J instead.

N trains will be skipping Broadway and 39 Av from 11:45pm Friday to 5am Monday, and also running local during that period between DeKalb Av and 59 St. N trains will be masquerading as the Q in both directions between Canal St and DeKalb Av from 11:45pm to 6am Friday.

From 6:30am to 11:30pm Saturday, R trains are rerouted via the Q line in both directions between Canal St and DeKalb Av.

Finally, from 11:15pm Friday to 5am Monday A trains will replace shuttle train service between Broad Channel and Rockaway Parkway.

Per the whims of the MTA, there will probably be other problems, and the problems stated abovestated problems are subject to change and worsen.
