Forget the annual fall trip upstate to go apple picking. At One Prospect Park West, a new condominium in Park Slope, residents have access to a pick-your-own apple orchard on the rooftop. Designed by ODA, the rooftop measures nearly 7,500 square feet, boasts panoramic views, and is considered the largest private roof terrace of any condo development in the borough. New images were released this week of the rooftop, which represents the first landscape-only project from ODA.

Designed by Workstead, One Prospect Park sits next to Grand Army Plaza, the landmarked entrance to Prospect Park. Originally built in 1925, the building served as a hotel for the Knights of Columbus until the 1950s and was converted into a nursing home in 1962. After being purchased by developers Sugar Hill Capital Partners in 2016, the property was converted into a luxury condominium with 64 units and 40 unique floor plans.

The expansive rooftop’s amenities include landscaping, seating, grills, and the apple trees. Residents will be able to pick their own fruit. The amenity package also includes a library, basketball court, spa, fitness center, residents’ lounge, and a children’s playroom.

The building’s interiors feature soaring ceilings, large windows facing Grand Army Plaza and the park, arched entryways, custom crown molding, and custom kitchen finishes, according to CityRealty.

Sales launched at One Prospect Park West in August 2020, with apartment configurations ranging from two bedrooms to four bedrooms. Current availabilities at the building start at $2,900,000 for a two-bedroom and go up to $4,595,000 for a four-bedroom.
