Many subway trains are masquerading as one another this weekend. The 2 and the 5 will be performing their usual swapped responsibilities, and this weekend the N and Q as well as the F, A and E are also joining in on the game-like service changes. Additionally, getting to Coney Island is going to be frustrating for many if not most straphangers due to a lack of service across lines servicing the area. Rockaway has had the same problem for some time now.

No 1 trains between 137 St and 242 St – free shuttle buses provide alternate service.

2 trains replace 5 service between Dyre Av and E 180 St. Downtown 2 and 5 trains run express from E 180 St to 3 Av-149 St.

No 2 or 3 train service between Brooklyn and Manhattan – no service at Park Place, Wall St, Clark St and Hoyt St.

5 trains replace 2 service between Wakefield-241 St and E 180 St.

Woodlawn-bound 4 trains skip 23 St, 28 St and 33 St. No 4 train service in Brooklyn between Utica Av and New Lots Av – free shuttle buses provide alternate service.

Pelham Bay Park-bound 6 trains skip 23 St, 28 St and 33 St.

No 7 trains between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards – free shuttle buses provide alternate service. Flushing-bound 7 trains in Queens skip 33, 40, 46, 52 and 69 Sts.

Inwood-bound A trains skip 135 St and 155 St in Manhattan and run via the F from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St.

No C trains between 145 St and 168 St – A trains provide alternate service and make select local stops. Euclid Av-bound C trains skip Spring, 23, 50, 116, 103, 96, 86 and 81 Sts. Uptown C trains skip 135 St. Manhattan-bound C trains run via the F from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St – no Manhattan-bound service at High, Fulton, Chambers, Canal and Spring Sts.

World Trade Center-bound E trains skip Briarwood and 75 Av.

42 Street Shuttle service operates overnight. No Rockaway Park Shuttle service at Broad Channel – take the A instead. Rockaway Park Shuttle operates approximately every 20 minutes between Rockaway Park-Beach 116 St and Beach 90 St and via the A to/from Far Rockaway-Mott Av.

Coney Island-bound D trains run local via the N from 36 St to Stillwell Av – no Coney Island-bound service at 9 Av, Fort Hamilton Pkway, 50, 55, 62, 71, 79, 18 Sts, 20 Avs, Bay Pkway, 25 Av and Bay 50 St.

No F trains between Church Av and Stillwell Av – free shuttle buses provide alternate service. Brooklyn-bound F trains run via the E from Roosevelt Av to Canal St and via the A to Jay St-MetroTech. Manhattan-bound F trains skip Sutphin Blvd, Briarwood and 75 Av.

M service operates between Middle Village-Metropolitan Av, Queens and Delancey St/Essex St Manhattan.

Astoria-bound N trains skip 39 Av and Broadway and run via the Q from DeKalb Av to Canal St.

Forest Hills-bound R trains run via the Q from DeKalb Av to Canal St. No R service at Whitehall St, Court St, Jay St-MetroTech and DeKalb Av – trains skip Union St, 4 Av-9 St, Prospect Av and 25 St in both directions.

Special W service operates between Whitehall St and Ditmars Blvd. Astoria-bound W trans skip 39 Av and Broadway.

No J trains between Chambers St and Broad St.

Per the whims of the MTA, there will probably be other problems, and the problems stated above are subject to change and worsen.
