After nearly four years on the market, Ivana Trump's opulent Lenox Hill townhouse has finally sold, fetching much less than its original $26.5 million listing price. The five-story home at 10 East 64th Street sold for $14 million, according to property records and first reported by the Wall Street Journal, down from its initial 2022 ask. Ivana purchased the home for roughly $2.5 million in 1992, shortly after her divorce from Donald Trump. The property was first listed following Ivana's death in 2022, as 6sqft previously reported.

The largest exhibition celebrating abstract expressionist artists and life partners Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner in two decades will open at the Metropolitan Museum of Art this fall. On view from October 4 through January 31, 2027, "Krasner and Pollock: Past Continuous" traces the full arc of both artists' careers, highlights their impact on modern art, and introduces their work to a new generation. The exhibition—the first at the Met to feature both artists—will display over 120 works borrowed from more than 80 U.S. and international lenders.

Naftali Group’s new limestone condo tower at 800 Fifth Ave gets approved

Naftali Group's plan to demolish an existing Upper East Side residential building and replace it with a new condominium tower was approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission on Tuesday. Designed by Ulrich Franzen in the 1970s, the existing post-modern building at 800 Fifth Avenue has about 200 rental units. Naftali, which acquired the building over the summer for $810 million, has tapped Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA) and SLCE to design a new limestone-clad tower with 55 condos and stunning Central Park views.

Eliot Spitzer’s planned Fifth Avenue condo tower gets height boost

Former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer's proposed Upper East Side condo project, which would replace a 1970s-era rental building with 26 luxury residences, just got a slight height boost. On Tuesday, the Landmarks Preservation Commission approved Spitzer's proposal to raise his planned development at 985 Fifth Avenue from 19 to 20 stories using City of Yes zoning reforms, replacing a 25-story rental building approved for demolition in 2023. Other approved changes include a textured limestone facade, a rear yard extension, and the removal of an adjacent public plaza.

The Met unveils large-scale animal sculptures honoring Indigenous culture and the natural world

Four large-scale bronze sculptures depicting animals have been installed outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Created by artist Jeffrey Gibson, the installation, titled "The Animal That Therefore I Am," has become a part of the museum's iconic Fifth Avenue neoclassical exterior as the 2025 Genesis Facade Commission. The 10-foot sculptures reference animals(a hawk, a squirrel, a coyote, and a deer) that are significant to Indigenous culture and also live in Central Park and the Hudson Valley.

Rudy Giuliani sells Upper East Side penthouse for under $5M

Rudy Giuliani has sold his Upper East Side penthouse for under $5 million, marking another price cut for the residence once slated to be turned over to two Georgia election officials as part of a lawsuit. As first reported by Crain's, the former New York City mayor and Trump attorney sold the three-bedroom unit at 45 East 66th Street for $4.95 million, after first listing it for $6.5 million in 2023 and later cutting the price by $1.4 million in March to $5.175 million. The penthouse was among the possessions Giuliani was ordered to surrender in October 2023 after losing the lawsuit. A settlement was reached in April 2024, allowing him to keep the home.
