Christie Brinkley lists her dreamy Sag Harbor vacation home for $25 million
Supermodel Christie Brinkley has just listed her lovely Sag Harbor property for a cool $25 million. Originally built in 1843, the three-story Colonial home includes period details, like wide-plank pine floors and multiple fireplaces, and has been decorated as one of the most idyllic vacation homes ever. Even better, the sprawling four-acre property comes with 327 feet of beachfront that overlooks the harbor, yachts, sailboats, and open bay of the Hamptons.
Brinkley has been on a roll recently getting rid of vacation homes. This summer she listed her estate in Bridgehampton, known as Tower Hill, for $30 million. Both properties are being marketed by Enzo Morabito, of Douglas Elliman.
The historic home–which boasts grand columns covering two facades–has remained remarkably in tact. It’s located just a short ways up from the beachfront.
Inside, this vacation home is downright dreamy. Water views and sunsets are enjoyed from almost every room in the house. A windowed sitting area off the living room offers the perfect place to gaze out onto the landscaped gardens and beach outside.
An open kitchen boasts soapstone and marble counters. Vintage signage adds a quirky touch throughout the rooms.
There’s a more causal dining area, right off the kitchen, as well as a formal dining room.
In total, the home holds five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, and an impressive master suite that comes with its own sitting room and terrace. (So you get to enjoy panoramic harbor views once you get out of bed.)
Other bedrooms retain some of the old details of the home, like arched ceilings and clawfoot tubs.
The rest of the property is downright stunning, and also includes a pool.
