Kristen Stewart just purchased a potential-filled Noho artists’ loft at 1 Bond Street, the New York Observer reports. The “Twilight Saga” actress and model snagged a 3,000-square-foot fixer-upper in the historic Robbins & Appleton building that boasts three exposures, Corinthian columns, a “highly customizable floor plan” and endless possibilities–for $5.64 million.
Last summer, after a stalker tried to break into her apartment at 250 Bowery in Nolita, supermodel Gigi Hadid listed the home for $2.45 million. It closed in January for $2.3 million, around which time Hadid and then-new flame Zayn Malik were seen checking out a $6.5 million apartment nearby at Noho’s 10 Bond Street. Seven months later, it look like Gigi’s officially shacked up in the Annabelle Selldorf-designed building, as she and Malik have been exiting the building together to a swarm of paparazzi.
Just yesterday, 6sqft reported that supermodel Gigi Hadid was spotted checking out a $6.5 million apartment at Noho’s 10 Bond Street along with new flame, former One Direction member Zayn Malik. Her timing couldn’t have been better, because according to city records released today, her current home at 250 Bowery, nearby in Nolita, has closed for $2.3 million.
The unit, which was owned by a trust in the name of her mother Yolanda Foster (of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” fame), first hit the market this past July, asking $2.45 million. Gigi bought the ultra-modern pad in 2014 for $1.92 million, but rumor has it she decided to sell after a stalker tried to break in.
Supermodel du jour Gigi Hadid was spotted having a look at one of the last remaining units in the Annabelle Selldorf-designed Noho condop at 10 Bond Street. The Post reports that the Palestinian/Dutch beauty viewed the 2,775 square-foot, three-bedroom unit #3B with new flame, former One Direction-er Zayn Malik, in tow.
Hadid–whose mom is “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Foster–put her smaller Noho pad on the market last summer for $2.45 million after being harassed by a stalker who broke into the apartment and stalked her online. Her latest interest (the apartment, not the boy, who appears to have replaced ex-boo Joe Jonas) looks to be a step up, and not only in price, at $6.49 million. Selldorf designed the interiors as well as the building itself, which boasts 98 feet of continuous glazing in living areas and weathered steel and cast terra cotta panels inspired by the neighborhood’s historic cast iron construction.
The model of the moment Gigi Hadid has sold her Nolita apartment at 250 Bowery, which was last listed for $2.45 million, according to the Post. The supermodel, who made national headlines yesterday for shutting down online body shamers, bought the ultra-modern pad in 2014 for $1.92 million after moving from LA to NYC to attend the New School, but decided to unload it when a stalker almost broke in. The two-bedroom condo is full of floor-to-ceiling windows and has a custom Carrara marble kitchen, along with white oak flooring and imported Italian white matte lacquer Lualdi pivot-hinge doors.
You’ve probably seen Gigi Hadid‘s face plastered across town on Guess or Maybelline billboards, or maybe if you’re a “Real Housewives” junkie you’ll recognize her from the Beverly Hills franchise, as she’s the daughter of the show’s Yolanda Foster. After moving to NYC to attend the New School, she bought an ultra-modern apartment at 250 Bowery last year for $1.92 million, through a trust in her mother’s name. The duo’s time decorating the home was featured on the “Real Housewives” show, and it was definitely worlds away from the typical Bed, Bath and Beyond sophomore-year shopping.
Now, after reportedly checking out a $3 million Lower East Side condo at 100 Norfolk Street (and getting together with Joe Jonas), Hadid has listed her Nolita apartment for a cool $2.45 million, according to the Daily News.
