Overall, the subway service changes this weekend are more merciful than in past weeks but, as always, there are still some things to watch out for. Uptown F trains are running via the A and E, the 6 is running in two sections so you’ll have to transfer at 125th Street, and there won’t be any J or M service between Brooklyn and Manhattan. Check out more details below.

1 trains skip 168 Street in both directions.

The Flatbush Avenue-bound 2 and 5 platform at Winthrop Street will be closed through July 2019.

The Eastchester-bound 5 platform at Gun Hill Road will be closed through September.

Pelham Bay Park-bound 6 trains will skip Brook Avenue, Cypress Avenue, E 143 Street, E 149 Street and Longwood Avenue in the Bronx. 6 service will run in two sections this weekend: Between Brooklyn Bridge and 125 Street and via the 4 to 149 Street-Grand Concourse; and between 125 Street in Manhattan and Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx. You’ll have to transfer at 125th Street.

There will be no 7 service between Willets Point and Main Street in Queens, hop on a free shuttle bus instead.

Queens-bound A trains run express from Hoyt-Schermerhorn to Euclid Avenue in Brooklyn. On Saturday, A trains will run every 10 minutes.

Euclid Avenue-bound C trains run express from Hoyt-Schermerhorn to Euclid Avenue in Brooklyn. C trains will run every 12 minutes throughout the weekend.

Jamaica Center-bound E trains will skip 75 Avenue and Briarwood and will run express from Queens Plaza to 71 Avenue.

There won’t be any L service between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Pkwy in Brooklyn, but free shuttle buses will be available.

The 62 Street/New Utrecht Avenue Station D, N transfer passageway is closed due to elevator repairs.

Jamaica-bound F trains run via the A from Jay Street-MetroTech to Canal Street and via the E to Roosevelt Avenue in Queens. Jamaica-bound F trains will also be skipping 75 Avenue, Briarwood and Sutphin Blvd in Queens. Like last weekend, there won’t be any F service between Church Avenue and Stillwell Avenue in Brooklyn, a free shuttle bus awaits.

The M isn’t running between Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn and Essex Street in Manhattan, take the J or hop on a free shuttle bus.

Downtown N trains skip 49 Street in Manhattan. There will be no N service between Ditmars Blvd and Queensboro Plaza, but free shuttle buses will be available. Coney Island-bound N platforms at Fort Hamilton Pkwy, New Utrecht Avenue, 18 Avenue, and 20 Avenue are temporarily closed. N trains run every 12 minutes.

Uptown Q and R trains will skip 49 Street in Manhattan. All Q trains will be running every 12 minutes this weekend.

Forest Hills-bound R trains run express this weekend from Queens Plaza to 71 Avenue in Queens.

J service between Hewes Street in Brooklyn and Broad Street in Manhattan will be replaced by free shuttle buses, 4 and 6 trains this weekend. The 111 Street J stop is temporarily closed.

There won’t be any G service between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues in Brooklyn and Court Square in Queens, hop on a shuttle bus instead.

Per the whims of the MTA, there will probably be other problems, and the problems stated above are subject to change and worsen.
