The Park Avenue penthouse owned by Maurice Tempelsman, Jackie Kennedy Onassis's longtime companion, is now on the market. Tempelsman, who died last summer at the age of 95, bought the top-floor co-op at 1155 Park Avenue in Carnegie Hill for $3.3 million in 1999, as the New York Times reported. Now asking $5.5 million, the two-bedroom pre-war apartment is surrounded by an enormous, landscaped terrace, providing a serene rooftop garden with views of Manhattan and Central Park.

Cobble Hill’s most expensive home finds a buyer

Cobble Hill's most expensive home, a five-story brownstone last asking just under $17 million, has entered contract. The 1850s home at 205 Clinton Street reportedly found a buyer after first hitting the market for $22 million last fall. In addition to being a new neighborhood record, if the home fetches near the 16.995 million ask, the property would be the most priciest deal in Brooklyn this year, surpassing the $16.25 million penthouse sale at Olympia Dumbo in February.

This 4,500-square-foot townhouse at 126 East 74th Street on the Upper East Side, asking $10.5 million, has a unique architectural history in addition to a designer's touch. Built in 1880, the home was constructed in the stately Victorian-era Italianate style of its neighbors. It was transformed in 1924 by William Shire, who created a facade resembling a Mediterranean villa while preserving the grand Victorian details within. The home's unique facade remains remarkably unchanged since then, but its interiors have gotten a complete overhaul to meet modern standards in both design and livability.

Pink buys historic yellow Greenwich Village townhouse for $21.5M

Pink bought a yellow Greenwich Village townhouse. The pop star paid $21.5 million for the historic six-story home at 125 West 11th Street, as the Wall Street Journal first reported. Built in 1849, the cheerfully painted Greek Revival mansion has served as a haven for artists for over a century, most recently the same family for 70 years. Following a three-year renovation, the roughly 7,900-square-foot home first hit the market for $25 million in 2024 before being reduced by $3.5 million last fall.

West Village megamansion enters contract for over $70M

Two multi-family townhouses that were combined into one megamansion in the West Village found a buyer this month. As first reported by the Wall Street Journal, the unique property at 105-107 Bank Street entered contract for over $70 million, set to become one of the most expensive homes ever sold in downtown Manhattan if the deal closes at that price. Robert A.M. Stern Architects designed the double-wide residence, which is six stories and measures over 13,000 square feet.

Seagram liquor heir Eli Bronfman will be collecting $120,000 a month for his penthouse pad at 20 Greene Street while searching for a buyer, according to The Real Deal. The massive loft occupies the top three floors of the classic cast-iron building, topped by a dazzling rooftop terrace. Bronfman put the four-bedroom condo on the market last year for $45 million. Its current ask is $35,950,000, but its six-figure rental price may make it hard to part with–and may be Soho's highest ever.

NY’s first hotel-to-affordable housing conversion near JFK Airport is now complete

The transformation of a vacant hotel near John F. Kennedy International Airport into affordable housing is complete, marking New York’s first development of its kind. Gov. Kathy Hochul on Thursday announced the completion of the Baisley Pond Park Residences in South Jamaica, which has turned the former JFK Hilton into 318 affordable and supportive apartments. The $167 million project—the first in the state to repurpose a hotel for affordable housing—features an indoor healing garden, on-site social services, and is fully electric.
