Late night weekday subway changes once again rival the weekend in terms of disruption

For the second week in the row, the incumbent late night weekday service changes are arguably worse than those on the weekend. The Q and S alone are the only lines without set service changes, and who knows what kind of signal delays might change even that small bit of reassurance.

Here’s the damage for this upcoming weekend:

No 1 trains between 137 St and 242 – free shuttle buses provide alternate service.

2 trains replace weekend 5 service between Dyre Av and E 180 St. No 2 or 3 service between Brooklyn and Mahattan – trains do not stop at Park Place, Wall St, Clark St and Hoyt St.

No 4 trains between Utica Av and New Lots Av.

5 trains replace weekend 2 service between Wakefield-241 St and E 180 St.

The 77 and 116 St 6 stations are exit only Saturday from noon to 5pm.

A trains skip 81, 96, 103 and 116 Sts.

Uptown C trains skip 81, 96, 103 and 116 Sts.

Jamaica Center-bound E trains skip 75 Av, Briarwood, Elmhurst, Grand Avs, Woodhaven Blvd, 63 Dr and 67 Av.

L service operates every 12 minutes between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs and Rockaway Pkwy.

Coney Island-bound D trains skip 155 St.

Jamaica-bound F trains skip 75 Av, Briarwood and Sutphin Blvd. Coney Island-bound F trains run via the E from Roosevelt Av to 5 Av/53 St..

N trains run via the D in both directions between 36 St and Bay Pkwy. Manhattan-bound N trains skip 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St and Union St. No N trains between Ditmars Blvd and Queensboro – free shuttle buses provide alternate service.

Forest Hills-bound R trains skip Elmhurst, Grand Avs, Woodhaven Blvd, 63 Dr and 67 Av. Manhattan-bound R trains skip 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St and Union St.

And here’s what to expect traveling the rails late night next week:

Van Cortlandt Park-bound 1 trains skip 50, 59, 66, 79 and 86 Sts late nights Monday to Friday.

Wakefield-bound 2 trains skip 50, 59, 66, 79 and 86 Sts late nights Tuesday to Friday. No 2 trains between Chambers St and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr late nights Monday to Friday. Atlantic Av/Barclays Ctr-bound 2 trains skip Eastern Pkwy, Grand Army Plaza and Bergen St late nights Monday to Friday.

No 3 train service late nights Monday and Tuesday – free shuttle buses provide alternate service. No 3 trains between Times Sq-42 St and New Lots Av until July 5.

4 trains replace the 3 between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and New Lots Av late nights until July 5.

5 service ends early between E 180 St and Bowling Green late nights Monday to Thursday.

Flushing-bound 7 trains skip 33, 40, 46, 52 and 69 Sts in Queens late nights Monday to Friday.

Ozone Park/Far Rockaway-bound A trains skip 116, 103, 96 and 81 Sts in Manhattan late nights Monday to Friday. A trains run via the F in both directions between W 4 St and Jay St-MetroTech late nights Monday to Friday. No A trains between 168 St and 207 St late nights Monday to Friday.

Uptown C trains skip 135 St late nights Monday to Thursday – take the A instead. Euclid Av-bound C trains skip 116, 103, 96 and 81 Sts late nights Monday to Thursday. C trains run via the F in both directions between W 4 St and Jay St-MetroTech. No C trains between 145 St and 168 St.

Beginning at 8:30pm, B service ends early, Monday to Thursday.

Norwood-bound D trains skip 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St and Union St late nights Monday to Friday.

Jamaica-bound F and Bedford/Nostrand Avs-bound G trains skip Fort Hamilton Pkwy, 15 St-Prospect Park and 4 Av-9 St late nights Monday to Friday.

M service ends early between 71 Av and Essex St late nights Monday to Thursday.

N trains run via the D in both directions between 36 St and Stillwell Av late nights Monday to Friday – free shuttle buses provide alternate service.

No late night R service in Brooklyn late nights Monday to Friday – free shuttle buses provide alternate service. Forest Hills-bound R trains skip 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St and Union St.

No G trains between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Court Sq late nights Monday to Friday.

Per the whims of the MTA, there will probably be other problems, and the problems stated above are subject to change and worsen.
