Rocker Peter Gabriel’s daughter, Anna Gabriel, is unloading her East Village pad for $1.65 million. Gabriel, who has shot music videos that include notably Beyonce’s “Countdown” and “Sweet Dreams,” purchased the apartment at 303 East 8th Street in 2006 for $1.05 million, according to public records. The long living room has exposed brick, high ceilings, and seven windows that look out over the East Village. According to the listing, the apartment’s flowing layout lends itself to entertaining, or even adding a third bedroom.
A dedicated dining area is located across from the living room. It looks particularly nice lined with Gabriel’s quirky art collection.
The kitchen’s been renovated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances that include a dishwasher. That’s offset by prewar details like the stained glass transoms and original hardwood floors that decorate this apartment.

This co-op is just half a block east from Tompkins Square Park, between Avenues B and C. The only drawback is that it’s a little far from the subways, about a 15 minute walk away from the L at First Avenue and the F at Second Avenue.
