Ricky Martin has sold his Upper East Side apartment for $6.45 million after eight years on and off the market. As first reported by the New York Post, the Latin music icon parted ways with his four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom residence at 170 East End Avenue in Yorkville, fetching the last asking price. Martin purchased the home in 2012 for $5.9 million and first listed it in 2017 for $8.4 million.

The 3,147-square-foot residence boasts a spacious open living and dining area with 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and hardwood floors, as well as a bright, windowed chef’s kitchen with custom cabinetry.

The residence includes two primary bedroom suites with oversized walk-in closets and spa-like bathrooms. A fifth room can serve as an extra bedroom, or as a study, library, nursery, or media room.

Martin is also in the process of selling his Beverly Hills mansion at 1309 Davies Drive. The mid-century residence is currently listed for $49.95 million, down from its original $75 million asking price. Previous owners have included British actor Michael Caine and the family of American actress and singer Doris Day, according to the New York Post.
In 2015, Martin sold his three-bedroom Noho apartment in the Herzog & de Meuron–designed 40 Bond Street building for $7.55 million. He had purchased the residence in 2007 for $5.7 million and first listed it in 2013 for $8.3 million, as 6sqft previously reported.

Completed in 2008 and designed by acclaimed architect Peter Marino, the 19-story 170 East End Avenue luxury condominium building overlooks Carl Schurz Park and the East River.
The building stands out for its striking architectural design, marked by floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple balconies, and a central landscaped garden with a waterfall, according to CityRealty.
Residents enjoy over 12,000 square feet of amenities, including a 24-hour doorman and concierge service, a state-of-the-art fitness center with a squash court and golf simulator, a 40-seat screening room, a children’s playroom and art studio, and an on-site parking garage.
