Beachgoers, beware: there aren’t any A trains running to Far Rockaway-Mott Av, nor Rockaway Park Shuttle service at Broad Channel, through the end of the summer. Some seriously poor timing on the MTA’s part, but the agency has never been known for greatness or awareness. As well, a slew of stations remain closed in Manhattan on the A, C and B lines and new this weekend, an elevator is being installed at the 62nd Street/New Utrecht Av D, N station, causing the closure of its transfer passageway through August. Beginning 5am Monday, the 57th Street F station will also close, through December.

Here’s the full list of planned weekend disruptions:

No 2 trains between Franklin Av and Flatbush Av – free shuttle buses provide alternate service. No 2 trains between 241 St and Gun Hill Road – free shuttle buses provide alternate service.

Woodlawn-bound 4 trains skip 23 St, 28 St and 33 St late nights. Manhattan-bound 4 trains run express from Woodlawn to Burnside Av – no Crown Heights-bound service at Mosholu Pkwy, Bedford Park Blvd, Kingsbridge, Fordham Rds and 183 St.

World Trade Center-bound E trains skip Briarwood and 75 Av and, late nights, run express from 71 Av to Queens Plaza, stopping at Roosevelt Av.

D service is rerouted between 59 St-Columbus Circle and Stillwell Av, with service operating between Norwood-205 St and 59 St-Columbus Circle and then via the A to/from Jay St-MetroTech and via the F to/from Stillwell Av – free shuttle buses provide alternate service between W 4 St and Grand St, stopping at B’way-Lafayette. Norwood-bound D trains run express from 145 St to Bedford Park Blvd.

F service operates between Jamaica-179 St and Lexington Av-63 St and via the Q express to/from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr (skipping DeKalb Av) and via the D to Stillwell Av. Manhattan-bound F trains run via the N from Stillwell Av to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr. Coney Island-bound F trains skip Sutphin Blvd, Briarwood and 75 Av. Free shuttle buses operate between W 4 and East Broadway and between Jay St-MetroTech and York St.

Middle Village-bound M trains skip Hewes St, Lorimer St and Flushing Av.

N trains run via the R in both directions between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Canal St. Coney-Island bound N trains skip 30 Av and 36 Av.

Coney Island-bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Kings Hwy stopping at Church Av and Newkirk Plaza.

Bay Ridge-bound R trains run express from 71 Av to Queens Plaza, stopping at Roosevelt Av.

No J trains between Crescent St and Jamaica Center. Crescent-bound J trains skip Hewes St, Lorimer St and Flushing Av.

Per the whims of the MTA, there will probably be other problems, and the problems stated above are subject to change and worsen.
