Manhattan streets renamed after New York Knicks players for playoff run

While fans took over Manhattan streets after the New York Knicks won game six against the Celtics last week, it's the players' turn now. Streets across the borough have been temporarily co-named after Knicks players ahead of the first Eastern Conference finals game on Wednesday. Mayor Eric Adams and the city's Department of Transportation, along with Madison Square Garden and the Knicks, unveiled 15 blue and orange street signs featuring the name and jersey number of current players.

Knicks to host playoff watch party outside of MSG

The New York Knicks are hosting another free watch party for game five of the first round of the NBA playoffs. While the team plays the Pistons in Detroit on Tuesday night, Knicks fans can still head to Midtown to watch the games on giant screens outside of Madison Square Garden. The team heads into tonight up 3-1 in the best-of-seven series.

Kick off the Knicks and Rangers postseason runs at ‘Playoff Palooza’

Get ready, New York sports fans. The Knicks and Rangers kick off their 2024 playoff runs this weekend. To build hype ahead of the round one games, the teams will host a free "playoff palooza" on Saturday with appearances from alumni from both teams, fun activations, face painting, a t-shirt press, photo ops, and more. The event, sponsored by Dunkin', takes place on April 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Waterfront Plaza at Brookfield Place in Battery Park City.
