Actor Benjamin McKenzie Eyes a Glitzy High Line Duplex

Star of "Gotham" (or Ryan from "The O.C." for our 20-something readers) Benjamin McKenzie was seen checking out a glitzy duplex at 420 West 25th Street, reports the Post. The $2.5 million pad near the High Line is located in the pre-war Ink Press building and features two bedrooms, double-height ceilings, and a private terrace. It's currently decked out with crystal chandeliers, gold decor, and elegant fabrics, a style we think would well suite the handsome actor.

Geraldo Rivera Buys $5.6M Condo, His Second Purchase in UES Building

Despite a string of recent on-air comments that were controversial to say the least, Geraldo Rivera is still movin' on up. The news personality, along with his wife Erica, just nabbed a $5.6 million condo on the 40th floor of 45 East 89th Street according to city records released today. This is the couple's second purchase in the massive Upper East Side building; they bought a 36th floor unit for $3.4 million in 2011. Geraldo's latest acquisition is a four-bedroom, 2,500-square-foot pad with remarkable Central Park views.

Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks Buys $1.16M Midtown Pad That’s Anything but Modern

We don't think the uber-chic, ever-polished Joan Harris would approve of this pretty basic, slightly cluttered midtown apartment that her real-life counterpart Christina Hendricks just picked up, but seeing that the actress is so well known for her timeless fashion sense, we think she'll turn it into her very own glam pad in no time. The Daily News reports that Hendricks and her husband, actor Geoffrey Arend, bought the one-bedroom unit at the Parc Vendome at 353 West 56th Street for $1.16 million. The timing makes sense, as "Mad Men," which films in Los Angeles, is airing its series finale in just a couple weeks.

New York Times Columnist Frank Bruni Nabs a Broadway Corridor Pad for $1.65M

The Times may be struggling to make ends meet, but it looks like their Op-Ed contributor and former chief restaurant critic Frank A. Bruni is doing just fine. City records show that the NYC tastemaker has just closed on a classic six in a brick-clad prewar at 123 West 74th Street for $1.65 million. Although the apartment is in need of quite a bit of work, Bruni has the perfect canvas to create his dream home. The apartment comes with high ceilings, well-kept hardwood floors, and is soaked in light thanks to three large south-facing windows in the living room and two bedrooms.

Just in time for summer in the Hamptons, retired Nets star Jason Kidd has sold his sprawling mansion at 100 Flying Point Road in Water Mill, fetching an impressive $7.1 million, reports the Post. He bought the then-brand-new, four-building luxury compound in 2012 for $5 million, originally listed it through Corcoran in October 2014 for nearly $8 million, but re-listed it with Douglas Elliman this past January for $1 million less. The home came fully furnished and offered the best of Hamptons living.

Actress Christina Ricci Nabs a $2M Fort Greene Townhouse Neighboring the BQE

Some people find the sound of moving traffic soothing, which must be the camp actress Christina Ricci falls into. According to the Post, Ricci has just scooped up a $2 million townhouse located at 67 Adelphi Street, right next door to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. Although not sited within the lovely and leafy quarters Fort Greene is best known for, the 2,205-square-foot home does have its charms: there are four sunny bedrooms, three bathrooms and a deck off the kitchen that leads to a large garden.

Reality Star Bethenny Frankel Revealed as Buyer of $4.2M Soho Loft

If you've been following the roller coaster that is reality television star Bethenny Frankel's life, you know that she started out as a single, struggling entrepreneur on "Real Housewives of New York City." She then launched the Skinny Girl margarita, sold the brand to Jim Beam for a reported $120 million, got married and had a daughter, filed for divorced, and rejoined the Housewives. On the recent season of the show, she considers herself "the richest homeless person in Manhattan," as her ex-husband stayed in their $5 million Tribeca apartment at 195 Hudson Street. We think Frankel's use of the word "homeless" is a little ridiculous considering she was splitting her time between lavish Hamptons rentals and high-end Manhattan hotels, but the Daily News has revealed that the Skinny Girl is actually the owner of apartment 2D at 22 Mercer Street in Soho. A nomad no more, Frankel is waiting to move into the gorgeous loft, which she bought about seven months ago for $4.2 million, until renovations are complete. But judging by the photos of the home, we can't imagine there'd be that much to change.

Interior Pictures Revealed for Demi Moore’s $75M San Remo Penthouse

We learned on Friday that Demi Moore's triplex penthouse at the San Remo would be hitting the market for $75 million, and now the listing has finally gone live, reports Curbed. While last week's exclusive story in the Times revealed many details about the 7,000-square-foot Central Park West residence which Moore bought in 1990 with ex-husband Bruce Willis, we only had black-and-white photos of the apartment from 1937. There aren't a ton of new pictures, but they show how the couple updated the Emory Roth-designed home in a "Southwestern Mission motif dominated by cherry wood" and give us a look at the unparalleled views.

Demi Moore Puts Famed San Remo Penthouse on the Market for $75M

It's been nearly a year since word got out that Demi Moore would be listing her triplex penthouse at the landmarked San Remo on Central Park West. Now, the Times is reporting that the co-op will be entering the market for the first time in 25 years, priced at a hefty $75 million. Included in the price is the crowning unit, PH26C, as well as a lobby-level maisonette, 1H. Moore bought the 7,000-square-foot residence in 1990 with ex-husband Bruce Willis (who's also been making the real estate headlines), and the couple then renovated the interiors "in a Southwestern Mission motif dominated by cherry wood" before splitting up in 2000. Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group will be handling the listing, and, though it has not been made public yet, we have some old 1937 black-and-white photos from the Museum of the City of New York to give you an idea of the bones of this one-of-a-kind home.

Two out of Six Units Already in Contract at 52 Lispenard Street, Is Jake Gyllenhaal the Next Buyer?

Sales launched exactly a month ago at the long-awaited 52 Lispenard Street in Tribeca, and in that short time two of the building's six units are already in contract at the asking price–the three-bedroom unit 3 for $7.3 million and the five-bedroom, floor-through unit 4 for $6.85 million. There are two four-bedroom units, priced at $7.2 and $8 million, also currently available. Since the Post reports today that Jake Gyllenhaal looked at two units in the building, one of which is the three-bedroom unit now in contract to someone else, we're wondering if he might just be the next buyer to sign on as one of the building's first residents.

Renovated Bespoke Bed Stuy Townhouse Sells for $2M

"Every surface, space and system has been carefully considered, restored and renovated with an artist's eye and artisan's craftsmanship," says the listing for this restored brick townhouse in Bed Stuy. Located at 109 Clifton Place, the wonderfully bespoke home has sold for $2,050,000, according to city records released today. The artistic quality of the home makes sense, as the previous owners were Darren Foote, an artist specializing in mixed media and woodworking, and Kristen Dodge, founder of the Lower East Side's DODGE Gallery. The couple cleverly redesigned their home, mixing classic historic details, artsy personal touches, and rustic features that would fit right in at Brooklyn's newest artisanal restaurant.

Real Estate Legend and ‘Shark Tank’ Star Barbara Corcoran Buys $10M UES Penthouse

Barbara Corcoran, founder of the Corcoran Group and investor on the popular television show "Shark Tank," has snatched up a fittingly glamorous Upper East Side penthouse for $10 million with her husband, former FBI agent William Higgins, according to a report yesterday by the Post and city records released today. When we ogled the listing at back in October, the 11-room duplex at 1158 Fifth Avenue had just dropped its price to $9.95 million, having originally gone on the market in 2013 for $14.5 million. The sellers are interior and landscape designer Pamela Scurry and her husband Richard. Though the home is currently filled with antique furnishings and old-world details, the real selling point was likely the massive terrace, conservatory, and solarium overlooking Central Park.

Architects Tod Williams and Billie Tsien Buy $1M Co-op at Hotel des Artistes

If you've been following the controversy surrounding the American Folk Art Museum and its demolition by MoMA, you know of Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, the husband-and-wife firm who designed the now-razed, but much-loved structure. In some less disparaging news, city records released today show that the couple has scooped up a $1,075,000 million co-op at the iconic Hotel des Artistes in Lincoln Square. Unit 415 is a one-bedroom duplex, and they already own unit 414, which they bought in 2008 for $1.6 million, so we can only assume they plan to work their architectural magic and combine the two adjacent apartments.

Sprawling Soho Loft Featured in ‘Sex and the City’ Lists for $18K/Month

If this incredible Soho loft looks familiar, it's likely because it's been used as a location on "Sex and the City," "Ugly Betty," and the Will Smith movie "Hitch," to name a few. It's also been featured in numerous architectural books and commercials. We're not surprised as to why location scouts and interior design publications flock to the sprawling, full-floor residence at 55 Greene Street, as it has all the quintessential and historic loft details one would hope for, like 15-foot pressed-tin ceilings, classic Corinthian cast-iron columns and wrap-around 10-foot-high windows. The famous three-bedroom pad is now listed as an $18,000/month rental.

Two Best Friends Sell Their Massive Midtown Artists’ Loft for $4.83M

Remember this amazing loft we featured on 6sqft back in September? Well it looks like it's found a new owner to fill its cavernous spaces. According to city records, the two-loft combo at 361 West 36th Street sold today for $4.83 million. While when we last wrote about this cool apartment we were going gaga over its beautiful 4,800 square feet of sun-soaked spaces, it turns out the story of the two women–both artists–who once dwelled within its walls is far better anything else found inside.

Sarah Jessica Parker Finally Sells Greenwich Village Townhouse for $20M

After quite a few price cuts and almost three years on the market, Sarah Jessica Parker has found a buyer for her Greenwich Village townhouse at 20 East 10th Street. Originally listed for $25 million in 2012, and most recently re-listed in September for $22 million, the 6,800-square-foot, five-bedroom home finally entered into contract for $20 million, according to the Daily News. Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick bought the townhouse in 2011 for $19 million. They completed a full renovation, but reportedly the family never actually lived there, using the home as a massive closet and residing in another Village townhouse.

Rent Tyra Banks’s Massive Battery Park City Apartment for $50,000/Month

The listing doesn't specify if you'll have to walk the runway or strike a pose to be considered for the role of "America's Next Top Tenant," but if having Tyra Banks as your landlord sounds appealing, and if you have $50,000 a month to spare, be sure to check out the supermodel's Battery Park City pad, which just hit the rental market, according to the Daily News. The 7,000-square-foot Riverhouse condo was originally four separate units on the 22nd and 23rd floors, which Banks bought in 2009 for $10.3 million. In 2011, she angered neighbors with the "ear-rattling drilling" and paint fumes from the renovation, which lasted nine months longer than the expected completion date. Hopefully the new renter will be more in line with the low-key, eco lifestyle of the residence, which is known as the greenest residential building on the East Coast.

Orlando Bloom Sells Tribeca Loft in Less Than One Month

We speculated last month that Orlando Bloom's decision to list his Tribeca loft for $5.5 million, just five months after purchasing it for $4.88 million, might have had something to do with celebrity neighbor Taylor Swift, and it looks like that's the general consensus. The Daily News reports that the actor has sold his three-bedroom apartment at the Sugarloaf Warehouse building less than 30 days after it hit the market. Apparently, Swift and her A-list pals have turned the building into a paparazzi frenzy, which might have proved too much for the more low-key Bloom.
