Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, and Jennifer Hudson will headline the massive concert happening this August in Central Park, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on Thursday. Last month, the mayor said he asked music producer and Brooklyn native Clive Davis to put together the concert, marketed as a celebration of New York’s comeback following the pandemic. The full lineup of performers will be announced in the coming weeks, but de Blasio said the event will be “one of the greatest Central Park concerts in history.”

The Connecticut estate of Grammy Award-winning musician Paul Simon has returned to the market for $11.9 million, roughly $2 million less than when the property first listed last year. The 1938-built brick home at 82 Brookwood Lane sits on 32 private acres in New Canaan, about an hour’s ride from Manhattan on Metro-North. Simon and his wife, singer-songwriter Edie Brickell, bought the home in 2002 and raised their three children there.

The 32-acre property that Simon and his wife, singer-songwriter Edie Brickell and their three children, have called home since 2002 includes a 8,500-square-foot main house and a private recording studio, formal walled gardens and a courtyard, landscaped grounds with a brook, meadows, woodlands, a great lawn, a pond, waterfalls and a three-car garage.
