It looks like Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick have just closed on two West Village townhouses for $34.5 million, according to The Real Deal. It was rumored in February that the actress was combining a pair of brick homes to create her own mega-mansion, working with power-broker Dolly Lenz to make a deal happen.
The buy comes just over a year after the couple sold off their Greenwich Village townhouse for a hefty $18.25 million—although at a discount and a loss (they originally paid $18.995 million in 2011, and then asked $20 million) after letting it linger on the market for nearly three years. The two homes snagged the “Sex and The City” star are located at 273 and 275 West 11th Street, which together combine into a 50-foot-wide residence with 13,900 square feet of interior space, plus a massive yard measuring 2,100 square feet.
let the renovations begin!
Carrie Bradshaw may not have been able to make her mind up about men, but Sarah Jessica Parker is more indecisive when it comes to real estate. The actress and hubby Matthew Broderick sold their Greenwich Village townhouse for $20 million back in March, which came after quite a few price cuts and almost three years on the market. And just a couple of weeks ago, they were seen checking out the Shephard, a new condo conversion in the ‘hood.
But it looks like SJP misses her townhouse, because broker-to-the-celebs Dolly Lenz shared an Instagram picture today, announcing that the couple is the buyer of two adjacent brick homes at 273 and 275 West 11th Street. Her caption implies that the power duo will combine the residences, which would result in a 50-foot-wide, 13,900-square-foot mega mansion, according to Curbed. The properties were last listed for $35 million total.

After quite a few price cuts and almost three years on the market, Sarah Jessica Parker has found a buyer for her Greenwich Village townhouse at 20 East 10th Street. Originally listed for $25 million in 2012, and most recently re-listed in September for $22 million, the 6,800-square-foot, five-bedroom home finally entered into contract for $20 million, according to the Daily News.
Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick bought the townhouse in 2011 for $19 million. They completed a full renovation, but reportedly the family never actually lived there, using the home as a massive closet and residing in another Village townhouse.

Everybody’s favorite Sex and the City star and her hubby just put their Greenwich Village townhouse back on the market for $22 million. After a brief disappearance in April, a new listing, held by none other than Million Dollar Listing’s Frederik Eklund and John Gomes, has emerged with a small price chop, down $3 million from its previous ask.
The beautiful five-bedroom home at 20 East 10th Street is certainly fit for a star, measuring 6,800 square feet and boasting seven fireplaces, a private garden with a Juliet balcony, two oversized skylights, 50′ long bookcases, and a full floor master bedroom with terrace—amongst many, many other luxuries. The townhouse, of course, also comes with two Carrie-worthy walk-in closets, which are worth a peek just to see what SJP has stored away.
