Lottery opens for 23 middle-income units next to Van Cortlandt Park in Riverdale, from $1,800/month

Applications are being accepted for 23 middle-income units at a new residential development in the Bronx. Located at 6375 Broadway in North Riverdale, the seven-story building sits across the street from Van Cortlandt Park, the city's third-largest park at more than a thousand acres. New Yorkers earning 130 percent of the area median income–or between $61,715 annually for a single person and $187,330 for a family of five–are eligible to apply for the apartments, which range from $1,800/month studios to $2,350/month two bedrooms.

Lottery opens for middle-income units at new Bronx rental near Yankee Stadium, from $1,600/month

A housing lottery opened this week for 32 middle-income units in a new 10-story residential building in the Bronx. Located at 1073 Summit Avenue in Highbridge, the building is designed by Marin Architects and developed by Stagg Group. New Yorkers earning 120 percent of the area median income, or between $54,858 annually for a single person to $154,680 annually for a family of five, are eligible to apply for the units, priced at $1,600/month for studios, $1,700/month for one-bedrooms, and $1,900/month for two-bedrooms.

Apply for 117 affordable units at a new mixed-use rental in the Bronx, starting at $865/month

Local Bronx developers Stagg Group filed plans for their second large-scale affordable housing development in the Norwood/Bedford Park neighborhood back in late 2015, and the project is finally complete as its 117 units have just come online via the city's housing lottery. The 11-story building known as Norwood Garden sits at the intersection of Webster Avenue and the dead-end East 203rd Street and was designed by Marin Architects with a large, rear second-story terrace, as well as several rooftop terraces. The units are available to households earning 60, 90, 100, and 130 percent of the area median income and range from $865/month studios to $2,302/month three-bedrooms.

Thor/General Growth File Permits to Add New Office Space Atop Fifth Avenue’s Upcoming ‘Coach House’

Part of its overall marketing plan to reinvent itself, Coach has leased space at 685 Fifth Avenue for a new flagship location to be called "Coach House." As outlined in new DOB filings and renderings, the luxury retailer will occupy a three-story corner portion at the base of the building, amounting to 23,400 square feet. As part of the property's transformation,  floor area from the lower levels will be removed and redistributed to the top of the 20-story building, providing five new floors of office space and raising the building's height from 227 feet to 292 feet.
