Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have long maintained a home in New York City, but now that the NFL quarterback has taken up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they’re consolidating a bit. As the Post first spotted, the couple has sold their Tribeca apartment for $36,800,000 million, according to property records. Brady and supermodel Bündchen bought the five-bedroom, 12th-floor pad in Robert A.M. Stern’s 70 Vestry Street in 2018 for $25.5 million pad. Just last month, though, they bought a smaller unit on the same floor for $3.5 million, which will presumably now serve as their NYC pied-à-terre.
Even if golden couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have left the neighborhood for a $20 million five-bedroom spread at Robert A.M. Stern’s 70 Vestry in Tribeca, a buyer was happy enough to snatch up their Flatiron pad at 23 East 22nd Street after a price chop. As 6sqft previously reported, the New England Patriots’ quarterback and the Brazilian-born supermodel seemed to be getting serious about selling when they cut the asking price to $13.95 million; the apartment is now spoken for and off the market, according to the New York Observer. The couple bought the 48th-floor unit for $11.7 million in 2014 and put it on the market for $17.25 million in 2016–with no takers until now.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have relisted their full-floor condo in the sleek One Madison tower at 23 East 22nd Street for $13.95 million, the New York Post reports. The New England Patriots quarterback and the Brazilian-born supermodel bought the 48th-floor unit for $11.7 million in 2014 and put it on the market for $17.25 million in 2016 when they headed further downtown to a $20 million five-bedroom spread at Robert A.M. Stern’s 70 Vestry.
Still looking good
With deflatgate behind him and another Super Bowl win under his belt, Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady is looking to upgrade apartments. The Post reports that he and supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen may be trading up from the 11th floor spread at Tribeca‘s 70 Vestry Street they bought for $20 million in August to a $35 million unit on the floor above. Why? The speculation is that Brady wants to be on floor 12, the same number as his jersey. Perhaps it’s pure ego or superstition since his jersey was recently stolen after the big game. Either way, the Robert A.M. Stern-designed building won’t be complete until next year, so the power couple has some time to make a final Hail Mary.
Pre-deflategate, in 2013, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen bought a sprawling apartment at glassy Flatiron tower One Madison. The following year, they put it on the market for $40,000 a month, and it rented out in just two days. But it looks like they’ll soon be selling, as the Post reports that the power couple has picked up a $20 million+ pad at Robert A.M. Stern’s forthcoming Tribeca project 70 Vestry Street.
Though it’s not confirmed which unit they acquired, sources say it’s 5,000 square feet, on a high floor, and comes with a large terrace. Rumor also has it they chose the waterfront building because of the privacy that its covered porte-cochère entrance provides.
More this way
Supermodel Gisele Bündchen and her NFL star hubby Tom Brady have just put their 3,300-square-foot apartment at One Madison on the rental market. The couple, who also own a mansion in Los Angeles and have built another in Brookline, MA, are offering up their modern Manhattan pad for $40,000 a month—or $42,500 if you want the space to come fully furnished. Either way, the home boasts some pretty spectacular 360-degree views of the city all throughout.
