After nearly four years on the market, Kirsten Dunst has finally sold her industrial-meets-rustic penthouse at 533 Canal Street (aka 477 Washington Street) in Soho. The actress first bought the two-bedroom apartment in 2007 for $3.09 million, claiming she needed a break from the L.A. lifestyle. Following a gut renovation that added lots of vintage charm, she put the loft on the rental market for $12,500 a month in late 2014 and later listed it for $5 million last February. Now, as the Observer reported, Dunst has sold her apartment for $4.43 million, a slight discount from the asking price of $4.5 million.

There seems to be a celeb exodus underfoot at the Soho co-op 533 Canal Street (aka 477 Washington Street). Just last month Kirsten Dunst re-listed her vintage-cool penthouse in the building, and now the Post reports that indie actor buddies Casey Affleck and Joaquin Phoenix have put the semi-raw duplex loft on the seventh floor that they co-own on the market for $3,895,000. This could have something to do with the fact that the pair–who co-wrote the 2010 mockumentary “I’m Still Here”–will soon be ex-brother in laws. Last year, after 13 years together, Affleck and Phoenix’s sister Summer decided to part ways.

Kirsten Dunst bought this industrial-meets-rustic penthouse at 533 Canal Street (aka 477 Washington Street) in Soho back in 2007 for $3.09 million, claiming she needed a break from the L.A. lifestyle. But after a gut renovation that added a boatload of vintage charm, she put the loft on the rental market for $12,500 a month in late 2014. And now that she recently got engaged to her “Fargo” co-star Jesse Plemons, she seems more eager to unload the pad, as it’s just reappeared as a $5 million sale.
