Tile isn’t quite a GPS but instead casts a Bluetooth signal that tells you if your item is in a 100-foot range. On a phone you’ll see a green circle around your item if it’s close, and if it’s beyond the Bluetooth’s reach, that circle is gray. To let you know that your item is near, the Tile gives off a melody until what you’ve been looking for is back in hand.
